Chris Price (musician)
Chris Price (born Kristian Price Pérez; August 26, 1984) is an American musician, singer and record producer. He has released three albums to date as a solo artist, including '' Homesick'' in 2012, '' Stop Talking'' in 2017, and ''Dalmatian'', which was released on March 2, 2018. He is also known as the producer of the 2014 album The Soul of All Natural Things by Linda Perhacs and as the producer of the 2016 album Rainbow Ends by Emitt Rhodes. Price is also a member of the bands Taylor Locke and The Roughs and Bebopalula. Early life Price was born Kristian Price Pérez in Miami, Florida, the son of Betsy Pérez (née Betson, b. 1963, Lansdowne, Pennsylvania) and Grammy Award winning record producer and songwriter Rudy Pérez (b. 1958, Pinar Del Rio, Cuba). Fernando Perdomo
Fernando Jose Perdomo (born August 17, 1980) is an American musician best known for his work as a producer and session bassist and guitarist. Career Fernando started his career as a session guitar player after playing in Miami Bands, Avenging Lawnmowers of Justice, Sixo, and Trophy Wife. In 1999, his guitar playing was featured in a nationwide ad campaign for Pier One Imports. In 2002, at the age of 22 he recorded most of the guitars for Cristian Castro's ''Amar Es''. He toured with Castro throughout Latin America. Perdomo played lead guitar and piano for Soraya on her final tour. It was during this time that Perdomo joined Ed Hale and Transcendence, finally adding a permanent guitarist to the band's often-changing lineup. Matt Fish (cellist)
Matt Fish is an American cellist and a music producer. Early life and education Fish was born in Lodi, California, and grew up in Dubuque, Iowa. He start playing piano at age five, and took up the cello at age nine. In high school Fish studied cello with George Work at Iowa State University and Charles Wendt at University of Iowa. He graduated from Indiana University School of Music, where he studied jazz with David Baker and classical cello with Helga Winold. Career Fish moved to San Francisco and became a founding member of Combing Dolores, an acoustic jazz-folk trio. While in San Francisco, Fish recorded on the second album of singer/songwriter Matt Nathanson, ''Ernst''. Rachel Beth Goodrich is an American musician from Miami, Florida. Her music has been described as an "eclectic blend of vaudeville-inspired indie pop, swing-jazz and country-folk." Her first album, ''Tinker Toys'', was self-released in 2008 to which the ''New York Times'' dubbed her as a "queen of the Miami indie rock scene". Joseph Paul Seiders (born September 5, 1980) is an American touring/session multi-instrumentalist and is the drummer and backing vocalist for The New Pornographers. Primarily a drummer, Joe also sings, plays keyboards, accordion, and guitar. Seiders was born in Winchester, Massachusetts and grew up in Derry, New Hampshire. Having a father that also played drums, he developed an interest for the drum kit at a very young age. He was also classically trained on piano from the age of five. KCRW (89.9 MHz FM) is a National Public Radio member station broadcasting from the campus of Santa Monica College in Santa Monica, California, where the station is licensed. Andrew Walter Gibson Scott (born November 15, 1967) is a Canadian musician born in Ottawa, Ontario and currently living in Toronto. His first bands include No Damn Fears and Oreo Reversed. Currently, Scott is a drummer with the Toronto-based band Sloan. Scott also plays guitar and occasionally sings lead vocals with the band, usually on songs he has written. Indie Pop
Indie pop (also typeset as indie-pop or indiepop) is a music genre and subculture that combines guitar pop with DIY ethic in opposition to the style and tone of mainstream pop music. It originated from British post-punk in the late 1970s and subsequently generated a thriving fanzine, Independent record label, label, and club and gig circuit. Compared to its counterpart, indie rock, the genre is more melodic, less abrasive, and relatively angst-free. Emitt Rhodes
Emitt Lynn Rhodes (February 25, 1950 – July 19, 2020) was an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and recording engineer. At 14 years, Rhodes began his career in musical ensembles the Palace Guard as the group's drummer before joining the Merry-Go-Round as a multi-instrumentalist. He has been called the "One-Man Beatles" due to the style and skill of his songwriting and instrumentation. As a member of the Merry-Go-Round, Rhodes wrote or co-wrote eleven of the twelve songs on the band's eponymous first and only album, released in 1967. Over the next two years, Rhodes wrote and recorded several songs in order to fulfill a contractual obligation the band had with A&M Records.
