''Stjärnorna på slottet'' (English: ''Stars at the Castle'') is a Swedish show featuring five film or music stars which is usually broadcast during the Christmas and New Year Eve weekend and a bit into January each year. The show was broadcast for the first time in January 2006 on SVT. The show has received a lot of attention in media and has had high ratings. The show has been filmed at several castles over the years, including Trolleholm Castle in Scania (2005 and 2007), Häckeberga Castle in Scania (2008), Thorskog House in Bohuslän (2009 and 2010), Görväln House in Uppland (2011), Bäckaskog Castle in Scania (2012–2013), Bjärsjölagård Castle in Scania (2014) and Ericsberg Castle in Södermanland (2015). Jonas Gardell
Lars Jonas Holger Gardell (born 2 November 1963) is a Swedish novelist, playwright, screenwriter and comedian. He is the brother of religion scholar Mattias Gardell. He is well known for his books and plays in all of Scandinavia and his books have been translated to around 25 languages. Early career Gardell's first novel, (''The Passion Play''), was published in 1985. Since then, he has written some ten novels, including (''A Comedian Growing Up''), which became a TV series. Kjerstin Dellert (4 November 1925 – 5 March 2018) was a Swedish opera singer and theater manager. Jan Edvard Carlsson (12 March 1937 – 31 August 2017), known professionally as Janne 'Loffe' Carlsson, was a Swedish actor, musician, composer and artist. Arja Enni Helena Saijonmaa (born 1 December 1944 in Mikkeli) is a Finnish singer, political activist and occasional actress. Life and career She studied at the Sibelius Academy and earned a Bachelor of Arts at the Helsinki University. She made her breakthrough as a singer in Sweden. She has made albums with Swedish translations of songs by Mikis Theodorakis, as well as covers of Zarah Leander songs. Jan Wilhelm Malmsjö (born 29 May 1932) is a Swedish stage and film actor, musical star and singer. He is married to Marie Göranzon and father to Jonas Malmsjö. Biography Malmsjö was born in Lund, Sweden. Magnus Härenstam
Johan Herbert Magnus Härenstam (19 June 1941 – 13 June 2015) was a Swedish television host, actor and comedian. Härenstam hosted the Swedish version of the game-show ''Jeopardy!'' for 14 years before being replaced by Adam Alsing. Härenstam is also known for hosting the children's TV-program ''Fem myror är fler än fyra elefanter'' (with Brasse Brännström & Eva Remaeus), which was very popular and has been re-broadcast numerous times since it first aired. Härenstam participated in the music video for ABBA's hit song " When I Kissed the Teacher" where he played the teacher who got kissed by Agnetha Fältskog.
