"Sting" is a song recorded by South Korean girl group Stellar for their second extended play of the same name. The song was released on January 18, 2016 as the title track from the EP. It was produced and written by GDLO (MonoTree), who also worked on other songs for the EP. The music video was released on January 18 and a dance version on January 23, 2016. "Sting" was described as an uptempo tropical house dance track. The music video for the song placed at number 7 of Billboard's Most Viewed K-Pop Videos in America for January 2016 and at number 10 Around the World. Stellar (South Korean Band)
Stellar (Hangul: 스텔라) was a South Korean girl group whose final lineup was composed of Minhee, Hyoeun, Soyoung and Youngheun that disbanded in 2018. Formed in 2011 by The Entertainment Pascal,Following Eric Mun's contract expiration with Top Class Entertainment in late 2013, the company renamed itself as The Entertainment Pascal. the group attracted attention as they were initially produced by Eric Mun of the boy band Shinhwa. Following an unsuccessful debut with the single "Rocket Girl" in August 2011, Stellar underwent a line-up change and released "UFO" in February 2012, which fared similarly. ''M Countdown'' () is a South Korean music program broadcast by Mnet. The show features appearances by popular music artists who also perform live on stage. It is broadcast from CJ E&M Center Studio in Sangam-dong, Mapo District, Seoul. Broadcast ''M Countdown'' airs live on domestic television at 6PM KST every Thursday. Live streaming is available internationally via the ''M Countdown On Air'' page on Mwave's website. In the Philippines, online multi-view live broadcast of the show is available via gigafest.smart. The Circle Digital Chart, previously known as the Gaon Digital Chart, is the music industry standard record chart ranking the 200 most popular singles in South Korea. It provides rankings on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis, which is based on an aggregate of streaming, downloads and background music from major South Korean music platforms. It is a part of the Circle Chart, previously known as the Gaon Chart. "Cry" is a single album recorded by South Korean girl group Stellar. It was released as their seventh single album and ninth single overall. The song was released on July 18, 2016 by The Entertainment Pascal and distributed by Universal Music. In order to promote the song, Stellar appeared in several South Korean music programs, including ''Music Bank'' and '' Inkigayo''. A music video for the song was also released on July 18. The EP was a commercial success peaking at number 16 on the Gaon Album Chart.
