Stevo The Madman
Kevin Alexander Stephens (born 28 July 1984) is an English former professional footballer who last played for Boreham Wood. He played as a defender for Leyton Orient in the Football League. In 2009, Stephens refused to play for Newport County again after opposition striker, Stuart Douglas, received racist abuse from Newport fans in the stadium. Under the name "Stevo the Madman" he has gained attention for videos on Snapchat. Career Leyton Orient Stephens started his footballing career at Football League Third Division side Leyton Orient as a trainee in 2001. He made his first of four league appearances for the club, all of them away from home, in a 3–2 defeat away to York City on 9 November 2002, a game in which he received a booking. The 2008–09 Football Conference season was the fifth season with the Conference consisting of three divisions, and the thirtieth season overall. The Conference covers the top two levels of Non-League football in England. The Conference Premier is the fifth highest level of the overall pyramid, whilst the Conference North and Conference South exist at the sixth level. The top team and the winner of the playoff of the National division were promoted to Football League Two, while the bottom four were relegated to the North or South divisions. Conference South
The National League South, formerly Conference South, is one of the second divisions of the National League in England, immediately below the top division National League. Along with National League North, it is in the second level of the National League System, and is the sixth tier overall of the English football league system. Dean Christopher Holdsworth (born 8 November 1968) is an English former professional football player and manager. As a striker he scored 193 goals in 610 league games over a 22-year career. Despite playing for 16 clubs in 19 spells the majority of his goals and appearances came at Brentford, Wimbledon, and Bolton Wanderers. He is the twin brother of David Holdsworth. Matthew Nathaniel Joseph (born 30 September 1972) is a former professional footballer who played as a defender. He has been a member of the Barbados national team. Career Joseph was born in the Bethnal Green area of London to West Indian parents. Simon Downer (born 19 October 1981) is a former English footballer who played as a central defender or right back. Club career Downer's previous clubs include Leyton Orient, Aldershot Town (loan), Weymouth, Grays Athletic, Wivenhoe Town, Rushden & Diamonds and Sutton United. Having played for the West Ham youth academy, Downer, who at the time was playing for Leyton Orient, went on trial with Newcastle United. However, Bobby Robson decided against signing the 19-year-old Downer, as he had a recurring problem with his left knee that needed an operation.
