Steven Wilson
Steven John Wilson (born 3 November 1967) is an English musician. He is the founder, guitarist, lead vocalist and songwriter of the rock band Porcupine Tree, as well as being a member of several other bands, including Blackfield, Storm Corrosion and No-Man. He is also a solo artist, having released 6 solo albums since his solo debut ''Insurgentes'' in 2008. In a career spanning more than 30 years, Wilson has made music prolifically and earned critical acclaim. His honours include six nominations for Grammy Awards: twice with Porcupine Tree, once with his collaborative band Storm Corrosion and three times as a solo artist. In 2017 ''The Daily Telegraph'' described him as "a resolutely independent artist" and "probably the most successful British artist you've never heard of". Hand
A hand is a prehensile, multi-fingered appendage located at the end of the forearm or forelimb of primates such as humans, chimpanzees, monkeys, and lemurs. Instant Film
Instant film is a type of photographic film that was introduced by Polaroid Corporation to produce a visible image within minutes or seconds of the photograph's exposure. The film contains the chemicals needed for developing and fixing the photograph, and the camera exposes and initiates the developing process after a photo has been taken. In earlier Polaroid instant cameras the film is pulled through rollers, breaking open a pod containing a reagent that is spread between the exposed negative and receiving positive sheet. This film sandwich develops for some time after which the positive sheet is peeled away from the negative to reveal the developed photo. In 1972, Polaroid introduced ''integral film'', which incorporated timing and receiving layers to automatically develop and fix the photo without any intervention from the photographer. Record Store Day is an annual event inaugurated in 2007 and held on one Saturday (typically the third) every April and every Black Friday in November to "celebrate the culture of the independently owned record store". The day brings together fans, artists, and thousands of independent record stores around the world. Virgin Records is a record label owned by Universal Music Group. ''The Harmony Codex'' is the seventh studio album by British musician Steven Wilson, released on 29 September2023 through Virgin Music Group. Background The record was first announced on 29 August 2023 with the release of lead single "Economies of Scale". Since then, the tracks "Impossible Tightrope", "Rock Bottom", and "What Life Brings" have been released as singles. The album is said to be "a genre-spanning collection that opens up like a musical puzzle box" and musically more complex than Wilson's previous album. Along with the release of the standalone record, also released was a three-disc limited edition featuring a collection of bonus tracks under the name ''Harmonic Distortion''.
