Steven Pierce
Steven D. Pierce (born October 10, 1949) is a retired Massachusetts jurist and politician who most recently served as chief justice of the Massachusetts Housing Court. He retired from the Housing Court September 2015. A graduate of Union College and the Duke University School of Law, Pierce worked as an attorney before being elected to the Massachusetts House of Representatives in 1978. He was the House Minority Whip (1983–1987) and the House Minority Leader (1987-1991). Pierce sought the Republican nomination for Governor in 1990. Pierce was considered the favorite to win the nomination. He won the vote at the State Convention and led his opponent William Weld in opinion polls by as much as 25%. However, on September 18, he lost the Republican Primary to Weld 61%-39%. Weld later appointed Pierce to the position of Secretary of Communities and Development. Steve Pierce (born 1950) is an American politician from Arizona. Pierce was a Republican member of the Arizona House of Representatives for District 1, serving until 2021. He was a member of the Arizona Senate from the 1st district. He was president of the Arizona State Senate from November 10, 2011 through 2013. Early life In 1950, Pierce was born in Phoenix, Arizona. Stephen Rowland Pierce
Stephen Rowland Pierce F.R.I.B.A, F.S.A. (1896–1966) was an architect and town planning consultant. In partnership with Charles Holloway James he designed several large British public buildings, including Norwich City Hall. In 1921, Pierce won the British Prix de Rome in Architecture of the British School at Rome, and afterwards became a member of the Faculty of Architecture. Elected A.R.I.B.A. in 1929 and F.R.I.B.A. in 1938, he was council’s critic for the R.I.B.A. prizes and studentships, joint secretary of the R.I.B.A. exhibition committee and assessor in competitions conducted by the Institute. From 1936 to 1942 Pierce was director of architectural studies at the Hastings School of Art. Steve Piearce (born 27 September 1974) is an English former footballer who played as a striker. He played in the Football League for Doncaster Rovers. Career Piearce began his career as a trainee with Wolverhampton Wanderers, but despite signing professional terms with the club never played a first team match for the club. He moved to Third Division Doncaster Rovers in Summer 1996 on a free transfer, making his senior debut on 17 August 1996 in a 0–1 loss to Carlisle. The striker made nineteen appearances for the club during the 1996–97 season but only scored once before being released.
