Steven Antony Williams (born 24 April 1987) is an English former professional footballer who played as a central defender. Career Early career Born in Preston, Lancashire, Williams started his career with West Lancashire League side Charnock Richard. He moved up the leagues to Chorley before he joined Bamber Bridge in January 2007. He moved on to Hyde United at the start of the 2008–09 season, before moving to Fleetwood Town in January 2009. In February 2009, when he returned to Bamber Bridge. Williams balanced his semi-professional football career with a job as a barber. Professional career Williams signed his first professional contract with Bradford City in July 2009. Williams made his debut for Bradford on the opening day of the 2009–10 season, on 8 August 2009, in a 5–0 defeat against Notts County, when he came on as a second-half substitute for Matthew Clarke with City already losing 4–0. Preston () is a city on the north bank of the River Ribble in Lancashire, England. 2015–16 National League
The 2015–16 National League season (known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons) was the first season under the new title of National League, the twelfth season consisting of three divisions and the thirty-seventh season overall. The National League covers the top two levels of Non-League football in England. The National League is the fifth highest level of the overall pyramid, while the National League North and National League South exist at the sixth level. The top team and the winner of the play-off of the Premier division will be promoted to League Two, while the bottom four are relegated to the North or South divisions. Northern Premier League
The Northern Premier League is an English football league that was founded in 1968. It has four divisions: the Premier Division (which stands at level 7 of the English football league system), Division One East, Division One West and Division One Midlands (which stand at level 8). Geographically, the league covers all of Northern England and the northern/central areas of the Midlands, and western parts of East Anglia. Originally a single-division competition, a second division was added in 1987: Division One, and in 2007 a third was added when Division One split into two geographic sections - Division One North and Division One South.
