Stephen Gill (born 1971) is a British experimental, conceptual and documentary photographer, whose work has been exhibited internationally along with his books that are a key aspect to Gill’s practice. Photographic practice Gill is a British photographer, who mainly draws inspiration from his immediate surroundings of inner city life in East London and more recently Sweden with an attempt to make work that reflects, responds and describes the times we live in. His work is often made up of long-term photo studies exploring and responding to the subjects in great depth. After working mainly in black and white from 1984, his practice since the mid 1990s was mostly in colour. Until 2003 his work mostly had a descriptive and typographical approach towards the subjects. Eight of his photo studies made between 1997 and 2003 were assembled and published as chapters in a book called ''Field Studies'' in 2004, which also toured as an exhibition. Stephen Gill, FRSC (born 1950) is Distinguished Research Professor of Political Science at York University, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is known for his work in International Relations and Global Political Economy and has published, among others, ''Power and Resistance in the New World Order'' (2003, second edition 2008), ''Power, Production and Social Reproduction'' (with Isabella Bakker, 2003), ''Gramsci, Historical Materialism and International Relations'' (1993), ''American Hegemony and the Trilateral Commission'' (1990) and ''The Global Political Economy: Perspectives, Problems and Policies'' (with David Law, 1988). Steve Gill (born November 15, 1956) is an American conservative talk radio host based in Nashville, Tennessee. He is a political commentator and radio host, and was the political editor of the website ''The Tennessee Star'' prior to his August 2019 arrest. Education Gill attended the University of Tennessee, where he received an undergraduate degree in history and a J.D. degree. He played varsity basketball while in college and was a member of the 1977 Tennessee team that won the Southeastern Conference championship.
