Stepan Beletsky
Stepan Petrovich Beletsky ( rus, Белецкий Степан Петрович) (Chernigov, around 1872-Moscow, 5 September 1918) was a Russian statesman in the Russian Empire and the Head of the Police Department and involved in scandals around Grigori Rasputin. In January 1914 he was appointed as senator in the State Council. Life In 1894 he graduated in law at the University of Kyiv, in the same year appointed as civil servant, responsible for art and printing. In 1899 he was appointed as governor of the Kovno Governorate in Lithuania; in 1904 he was transferred from Kaunas to Vilnius, in February 1907 in Samara, where he was appointed as vice-governor and applied the newly introduced land reforms by Stolypin. Stepan Ivanovich Davydov (russian: Степа́н Ива́нович Давы́дов, uk, Степа́н Іва́нович Давидів born: January 12 S January 11777 – died: May 21 S May 91825 Moscow) was an Imperial Russian composer and singer. He was born in Chernihiv in the Russian Empire (present-day Ukraine). Biography When the principal choirboy of the Imperial Court Capella, he drew the attention of the Empress Catherine II, who consigned him to the care of the Italian composer Giuseppe Sarti (1729–1802). Stepan Nikolayevich Borozenets (russian: Степан Николаевич Борозенец; 20 August 1922 26 August 2016) was a Soviet Air Force colonel and a Hero of the Soviet Union. Borozenets served as an Ilyushin Il-2 ground attack aircraft pilot during World War II, and was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union for flying 94 sorties and destroying German equipment. Postwar, he went on to command a bomber aviation regiment before retiring in 1978. In 1995, he went to Chicago for medical treatment and remained in America until his death in 2016. Stepan Markovich Bondarev (; 9 April 1923 9 June 2016) was a Soviet Army lieutenant general. He fought in World War II as a tank company commander. Postwar, he was commander of the 29th Army and deputy commander of the North Caucasus Military District and the Northern Group of Forces.
