Sten Luthander
''Sten'' Åke Birger Luthander (December 8, 1905, in Silbodal in Värmland – February 13, 2000, at Lidingö) was a Swedish professor in aeronautics. Education and career After studying at KTH Royal Institute of Technology 1925–1930, he was employed as an assistant to Ivar Malmer in aeronautical engineering (1930) and strength theory (1936) at KTH. He was head of department at the National Aeronautical Research Institute in 1940, and was appointed professor of aeronautical engineering at KTH in 1944. He was head of Saab AB's research department in Linköping 1947–1949. Retired from KTH 1972. In 1961 he started the consulting company LUTAB (Professor Sten Luthander Ingenjörsbyrå AB). Årjäng Municipality
Årjäng Municipality (''Årjängs kommun'') is a municipality in Värmland County in west central Sweden, bordering Norway. Its seat is located in the town of Årjäng. A separate local government entity named Årjäng was created in 1941 when it was detached from Silbodal. In 1952 the two were reunited under the name of Årjäng. In 1971 Sillerud and Holmedal were amalgamated with Årjäng. In 1974 Töcksmark was added, expanding the municipality to its current size. The municipality contains two localities, Årjäng and Töcksfors. Known Swedish sportsmen from this municipality are Per-Gunnar Andersson and Thomas Wassberg. Gunnar De Frumerie
Per Gunnar Fredrik de Frumerie (20 July 1908, in Nacka, Stockholm County – 9 September 1987, in Täby, Stockholm County) was a Swedish composer and pianist. He was the son of architect Gustaf de Frumerie and Maria Helleday. After studying piano in Stockholm and Vienna, he studied under Alfred Cortot in Paris. He then studied at the Royal College of Music, Stockholm from 1923–1928. Frumerie later taught the piano at the same college, from 1945 to 1974. His compositions covered a wide area, from grand opera to piano miniatures, but he is best remembered for his piano works. His works possess a Brahmsian complexity mixed with an impressionistic elegance. One can relate his music to such composers as Lars-Erik Larsson or Wilhelm Peterson-Berger. Lidingö Cemetery
Lidingö Cemetery ( sv, Lidingö kyrkogård) is a cemetery located adjacent to Lidingö Church in Stockholm County, Sweden. It is centrally located on the island of Lidingö at an elevation adjacent to Kyrkviken's southern shore. South-west of the church is Hersbyholm and south on the other side of Ekholmsnäsvägen is one of Lidingö's well-known townhouse areas, Hersby Gärde. History Lidingö Church appears for the first time on a map from 1661. Also marked on the map are some of the farms and dwellings that were on the island at that time. Around the church and the cemetery an arched wall was built in 1755, which is partly preserved. The wreath of lime trees around the oldest part of the cemetery was planted around 1810. The cemetery was expanded south and east in 1854 and was then supplemented with new rows of lime trees. The cemetery continued to expand in turns both south and east in 1905 and in 1909. Värmland
Värmland () also known as Wermeland, is a '' landskap'' (historical province) in west-central Sweden. It borders Västergötland, Dalsland, Dalarna, Västmanland, and Närke, and is bounded by Norway in the west. Latin name versions are ''Varmelandia'', ''Vermelandia'', ''Wermelandia'', ''Værmalandia'', ''Værmolandia'', ''Virmolandia'' and ''Vermillandia''.
