Cochrane District, Ontario
Cochrane District is a district and census division in Northeastern Ontario in the Canadian province of Ontario. It was created in 1921 from parts of Timiskaming and Thunder Bay districts. In 2016, the population was 79,682. The land area of this district is , making it slightly smaller than the US State of Michigan and the second largest district in Ontario after Kenora District. Conway County, Arkansas
Conway County is a county located in the U.S. state of Arkansas. Created as Arkansas's 11th county on October 20, 1825, Conway County has four incorporated municipalities, including Morrilton, the county seat and most populous city. The county is also the site of numerous unincorporated communities and ghost towns. The county is named for Henry Wharton Conway, a politician from a powerful political family who served as the delegate from the Arkansas Territory to the U.S. Congress from 1823 to 1827. As of the 2010 census, the population was 21,273. The county seat is Morrilton. The county was formed on October 20, 1825, from a portion of Pulaski County and named for Henry Wharton Conway who was the territorial delegate to the U.S. Congress. Steele Township, Daviess County, Indiana
Steele Township is one of ten townships in Daviess County, Indiana. As of the 2010 census, its population was 903 and it contained 399 housing units. History Steele Township was organized in 1835 out of what had been northern Washington Township. It was settled later than most other Daviess County townships—the earliest settlers in the county were primarily hillfolk from Tennessee, Kentucky, and the Carolinas; they were unfamiliar with the bottomland prevalent in the township, and folklore of the day held that malaria was far more prevalent in lowlands. The first settlement was made around 1820; in the township's earliest years, it was isolated by poor transportation, but the construction of the Wabash and Erie Canal led to an economic boom for a short time, before the canal was abandoned.Fulkerson, A.O., ed. Steele Township is one of fourteen townships in Rowan County, North Carolina, United States. The township had a population of 1,725 according to the 2010 census. Geography Steele Township is located in western central Rowan County and occupies . There are no incorporated municipalities in Steele Township. The northern border of the township follows Beaverdam and Withrow Creeks, NC Hwy 801, and the Norfolk Southern railroad to Second Creek. The eastern border goes along Richard Road and Lowder Road then goes straight down to NC Hwy 150. NC Hwy 150 & Sloan Road make up the southern border of Steele Township. The western border follows Upright Road, Lyerly Road, Graham Road, NC Hwy 801 then goes north & meets with Beaverdam Creek.
