State Pathologist's Office
The State Pathologist's Office () is a branch of the Department of Justice in the Republic of Ireland. Its function is to provide independent expert advice on matters relating to forensic pathology and to perform post-mortem examinations in those cases where foul play is suspected (so-called 'state cases'). This function includes providing post-mortem reports to the relevant coroner in appropriate instances, as well as attendance at coroners' inquests and at any court proceedings arising out of the Garda investigation into a death. The office also provides advice to coroners on cases which are not the subject of a criminal investigation, but which nevertheless give rise to complex questions of forensic pathology. There is one full-time Chief State Pathologist, Dr. Linda Mulligan. Whitehall () is a Northside suburb of Dublin City, Ireland. Whitehall is a residential area on the northern outskirts of Dublin's inner city, located near the M1 motorway leading to Dublin Airport, Swords and Belfast. It's situated between the suburbs of Santry, Drumcondra and Glasnevin. North of Whitehall, the M1 motorway begins at its junction with the M50, past the Dublin Port Tunnel's northern entrance. Marino () is an inner suburb on the Northside (Dublin), Northside of Dublin, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. It was built, in a planned form, on former grounds of Marino House, in an area between Drumcondra, Dublin, Drumcondra, Donnycarney, Clontarf, Dublin, Clontarf, and what became Fairview, Dublin, Fairview. The initial development featured around 1,300 concrete-built houses. The design of the new Marino development was heavily influenced by the Garden city movement, Garden City Movement, which originated in the United Kingdom with Ebenezer Howard, Sir Ebeneezer Howard. ''The Herald'' is a nationwide mid-market tabloid newspaper headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, and published by Independent News & Media who are a subsidiary of Mediahuis. It is published Monday–Saturday. The newspaper was known as the ''Evening Herald'' until its name was changed in 2013. History The ''Evening Herald'' was first published in Dublin on 19 December 1891. In 1982 the paper changed its size from broadsheet to tabloid.
