Start A Fire (Neon Trees EP)
''Start a Fire'' was the first official release of the American rock band Neon Trees. The EP was only available for sale at shows their late 2009 tour supporting Nico Vega and was limited to one pressing of 500 units. All the tracks on the EP were recorded at Microphone Action Squad in Orem, Utah and were produced and engineered by Scott Wiley. A video for the unofficial single, "Calling My Name", was shot at Muse Music in Provo, Utah. "Phones" is one of the oldest Neon Trees tracks, dating back to before Elaine and Branden were in the group. Neon Trees
Neon Trees is an American rock band from Provo, Utah. The band received nationwide exposure in late 2008 when they opened several North American tour dates for the band The Killers. Not long after, the band was signed by Mercury Records. Their first single, "Animal", climbed to No. 13 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and No. 1 on the Alternative Songs chart. Since their formation, Neon Trees has released four studio albums: ''Habits'' (2010), ''Picture Show'' (2012), ''Pop Psychology'' (2014), and '' I Can Feel You Forgetting Me'' (2020). ''Habits'' is the debut studio album by American rock band Neon Trees, released on March 16, 2010. The album's lead single, "Animal" was featured in several commercials, including those for Camp Vegas, and has reached number 13 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and number one on the Alternative Rock chart. "1983" received a music video, the single was released on September 28, 2010. Nico Vega was an American indie rock band formed in 2005 in Los Angeles, California, United States. They consist of lead vocalist Aja Volkman, lead guitarist Rich Koehler, and drummer Dan Epand. The group has released two albums ''Nico Vega'' (2009) and ''Lead to Light'' (2014). ''Billboard'' described ''Lead to Light'' as possessing "some of the most unstoppable pop-rock hooks heard all year." After a hiatus announced on June 6, 2016, the band returned nearly two years later on April 6, 2018, when Volkman announced a new single and a return on her Instagram. Tyler Aaron Glenn (born November 28, 1983) is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He is known as the lead vocalist and keyboardist of the American rock band Neon Trees and as a solo artist. Biography As a teenager, Glenn attended Chaparral High School in Temecula, California. He is a former member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). After high school, he served a Latter-day Saint mission in Nebraska. Neon Trees' origins lay in Southern California in 2004 after Glenn's father suggested he play music with guitarist Chris Allen, the son of one of Glenn's father's friends. In 2005, they moved to Provo, Utah and formally founded Neon Trees, adding bassist Branden Campbell and drummer/backing vocalist Elaine Doty (who is now Elaine Bradley) in 2007.
