Stan Robinson

In an article in ''Jazz News'' magazine in September 1960, Tubby Hayes was cited as saying that he believed Robinson to be among the most promising new British tenor saxophonists to have emerged during the late 1950s. Stanley Robinson (basketball)
Stanley Earl Robinson (July 14, 1988July 21, 2020) was an American professional basketball player. He primarily played the small forward position, but occasionally assumed the role of a power forward as well. Robinson played college basketball for the UConn Huskies. He went on to play most of his professional career in South America. Early life Robinson was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on July 14, 1988. He studied at the University of Connecticut, and played college basketball with the UConn Huskies. In the run-up to the NBA draft in June 2010, he was described as a "strong offensive rebounder" and an "explosive finisher". However, his quickness was somewhat cancelled out by mediocre ball-handling, and it was predicted that the absence of major development in his four years of college basketball would lead him to be selected in round two. Sir Edward Stanley Gotch Robinson, FBA (1887–1976), usually known as (Sir) Stanley Robinson, was a numismatist, specializing in Greek and Roman coins. He was Keeper of the Department of Coins and Medals at the British Museum."Sir Edward Robinson Authority on Greek Coins." The Times (London). June 15, 1976; p. 16. Biography Robinson studied at Clifton College, Bristol, and Christ Church, Oxford. He joined the British School in Athens, 1910–11, and then the Department of Coins and Medals at the British Museum in 1912. He enlisted in the army in 1914, but was wounded in combat in France, and, after a stint at the Home Office, returned to the British Museum, eventually becoming Deputy Keeper in 1936, and Keeper (Head) of the Department, 1949–52. Stanley Robinson, known as Substantial, is a hip hop recording artist from Prince George's County, Maryland. He now operates out of Virginia. His videos have appeared on MTV, BET and VH1, while his music has made it to the second round of Grammy voting in three categories. The car company Bentley reached out to have Substantial’s supergroup, FANOMM (with Chew Fu & J-Cast) to create a song for them and perform in China at their car show. Substantial is also known for being a close collaborator of Nujabes, the Japanese producer who died in 2010. Personal life Growing up, the first concert Stanley attended was Run DMC featuring Naughty By Nature, and Lords of the Underground. Stanley Herbert Robinson (1911–1995) was an Australian rugby league player who played in the 1930s. Playing career A talented full-back, Robinson played seven seasons with St. George between 1931-1937, and played in the 1933 Grand Final losing to Newtown 18-5. He also represented New South Wales City Firsts on two occasions in 1933 and 1935. In 1935, Robinson played in the historic blowout winning 91-6 against Canterbury at Earl Park, Arncliffe Earl Park is the name of a former sports field in the Sydney suburb of Arncliffe. From 1925 to 1939 it was the site of New South Wales Rugby Football League Premiership club, St. George's home ground and headquarters. The ground was provided by ....
