Stanley Forman Reed
Stanley Forman Reed (December 31, 1884 – April 2, 1980) was an American lawyer and jurist who served as an Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court from 1938 to 1957. He also served as U.S. Solicitor General from 1935 to 1938. Born in Mason County, Kentucky, Reed established a legal practice in Maysville, Kentucky, and won election to the Kentucky House of Representatives. He attended law school but did not graduate, making him the latest-serving Supreme Court Justice who did not graduate from law school. After serving in the United States Army during World War I, Reed emerged as a prominent corporate attorney and took positions with the Federal Farm Board and the Reconstruction Finance Corporation. He took office as Solicitor General in 1935, and defended the constitutionality of several New Deal policies. After the retirement of Associate Justice George Sutherland, President Franklin D. Stanley Reed (artist)
Stanley Reed (1908–1978) was an English artist based in Liverpool, where he studied at the Liverpool School of Art. He was a painter in oils, mainly of portraits, and received several commissions from the Lord Mayors of Liverpool and Manchester. His works can be seen in the collections of the National Portrait Gallery, Walker Art Gallery, Abbot Hall Art Gallery, Manchester Jewish Museum, Williamson Art Gallery and Museum and Victoria Gallery & Museum The Victoria Gallery & Museum (VG&M) is an art gallery and museum run by the University of Liverpool in Liverpool, Merseyside, England.

Sir Herbert Stanley Reed (28 January 1872 – 17 January 1969) was an important figure in the media of India in the early 20th century who later became a Conservative Party politician in the UK. He was conservative member for the Aylesbury division of Buckinghamshire. Reed was the longest serving Editor of ''The Times of India'' from 1907 until 1924. He received correspondence from the major figures of India such as Mahatma Gandhi. In all he lived in India for fifty years. He was respected in the United Kingdom as an expert on Indian current affairs. He christened Jaipur as 'the Pink City of India'. Stanley Foster Reed
Stanley Foster Reed (1917–2007) was an entrepreneur, inventor, and publisher who founded Reed Research Inc. in 1940, the journal Mergers & Acquisitions in 1965, and the magazine Campaigns & Elections in 1980. Biography Reed was born in Bogota, New Jersey on September 28, 1917, the third son of Beryl Turner Reed and Morton Gilman Reed, and grew up in Hartsdale and White Plains, New York. He started a roofing company and worked briefly at a sheet metal factory for Pittsburgh Steel. In 1940, at age 23, he started up a scientific research company, renting a two-story building next to a junk yard along the C & O canal in Georgetown. Reed lived in McLean, Virginia, for 40 years. In 1981 he earned an MBA from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland at the age of 64. In 1994, he moved to Charleston, S.C. to take a position as the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the College of Charleston, where he taught advanced management courses.
