Stan van den Buijs (born 8 June 1957) is a Belgian retired football player, who is most notable (or notorious) for scoring a hat-trick of own goals (three own goals in one match) while playing for Germinal Ekeren against Anderlecht in the 1994–95 season of the Belgian Jupiler League (Anderlecht won 3-2). On 20 February 2022, New Zealand defender Meikayla Moore scored a perfect hat-trick of own goals in a match for New Zealand against the United States at the SheBelieves Cup, all in the first half. Moore is the second footballer believed to have recorded a hat-trick of own goals which were not deliberate, after van den Buys. Kalmthout () is a municipality in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises the villages of Kalmthout, Achterbroek, Heide, and Nieuwmoer. Koninklijke Beerschot Antwerpen Club (), simply known as Beerschot AC, was a Belgian football club based in southern Antwerp. The SheBelieves Cup is an invitational women's soccer tournament held in different cities in the United States in late February or early March. In its first three years (2016, 2017 and 2018), it was contested by the same four teams: the United States, England, France, and Germany. Meikayla Jean-Maree Moore (born 4 June 1996) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Glasgow City in the Scottish Women's Premier League and the New Zealand national team.
