Stadionul Tineretului (Urziceni)
Tineretului Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Urziceni, Romania. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FC Urziceni. The stadium is not very big, having a floodlighting system, with a density of 1400 lux, that has been inaugurated in 2007 but it does not meets UEFA's conditions to host UEFA Champions League matches. For this reason, Unirea had to play their home matches in the 2009–2010 edition on the Steaua Stadium. In English "tineretului" means "of/to the youth", while "Unirea" is translated as "The Union". In the autumn of 2014 there were some hooligans that vandalized the stadium. In the 26th of August 2017 a match between FC Urziceni and Abatorul Slobozia was played for the first time ever since the Tineretului been renovated from the vandalization from the autumn of 2014. Urziceni
Urziceni () is a city in Ialomița County, Muntenia, Romania, located around 60 km north-east of Bucharest. It has a population of 14,053: 93.1% Romanians, 4.6% Roma and 1.6% Hungarians. Demographics As the census of 2011 results shows, Urziceni is ranked in 3rd place in Ialomița County, after Slobozia and Fetești with 14053 stable residents, there are 6765 males and 7288 females. Origins Founded by Romanian shepherds, its name is derived from the word "urzică" (nettle). It was mentioned for the first time in a written document on 23 April 1596, during the reign of Mihai Viteazul. It gained in 1831 the status of market town and in 1895 the city status. Asociația Sportivă Fotbal Club Urziceni, commonly known as FC Urziceni (), is a Romanian professional football club based in Urziceni, Ialomița County which currently plays in fourth division, Ialomița County. Unirea became national champions in 2009, at the end of their third season in the top-flight. The club was founded in 1954, and spent the majority of its history in the lower tiers of the Romanian league system. In 2006 they reached Liga I for the first time, and received national praise for their results at this level. At the end of their second season in the top division they earned qualification to Europe, and one year later they claimed the domestic title. In 2010, the team's owner withdrew financial support and Urziceni was forced to sell most of its players to pay debts, leading to relegation at the end of the 2010–11 season. The 2009–10 UEFA Champions League was the 55th season of Europe's premier club football tournament organised by UEFA, and the 18th under the current UEFA Champions League format. Steaua Stadium
The Steaua Stadium ( ro, Stadionul Steaua), informally also known as Ghencea, is a multi-purpose stadium in Bucharest, Romania. It primarily serves as the home stadium of FCSB and CSA Steaua București, replacing the former venue. The new stadium cost €95 million and is located in the neighbourhood of Ghencea. It seats 31,254 spectators. Notable events The stadium was inaugurated on 7 July 2021, with a match between Steaua and OFK Beograd, the same team with whom they had inaugurated the previous stadium back in 1974. Hooliganism is disruptive or unlawful behavior such as rioting, bullying and vandalism, usually in connection with crowds at sporting events. Etymology There are several theories regarding the origin of the word ''hooliganism,'' which is a derivative of the word hooligan. 2006 UEFA European Under-21 Championship Qualification
The qualifying groups for the 2006 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, where possible, matched the 7- and 6-team World Cup 2006 qualifying groups of the senior European teams. The exceptions were where Andorra, Faroe Islands, Liechtenstein, and Northern Ireland were involved; none of whom entered an under-21 team.
