St John's College is a state-integrated school, state-integrated Roman Catholic Diocese of Hamilton, New Zealand, Catholic boys' secondary school in Hamilton, New Zealand, Hamilton, New Zealand, with a school roll of 816 as of March 2019. The school was established by the Marist Brothers in 1961 from Marist School (now Marian Catholic School). Paul Honiss
Paul Gerard Honiss (born 18 June 1963) is a retired rugby union referee from Hamilton, New Zealand. Honiss held the record of the most test matches refereed (46) when he retired as an international rugby union referee in July 2008. That record has since been surpassed by Jonathan Kaplan. He first started refereeing in 1984, making his international referee debut in a 1997 Rugby World Cup qualifier between Tahiti and the Cook Islands. Honiss was subsequently selected to officiate at the 1999 Rugby World Cup in Wales, and the 2003 Rugby World Cup in Australia. He was also selected as a referee for the 2007 Rugby World Cup in France. Mike Homik
Michael Homik (born 6 July 1978) is a New Zealand former basketball player. He played 14 seasons in the National Basketball League (NBL) and won four championships. He also played for the Tall Blacks and won a silver medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. Early life Homik was born and raised in Hamilton, New Zealand, where he attended St John's College. Basketball career In 1996, Homik debuted in the NBL for the Waikato Warriors. He played seven games in both 1996 and 1997, before moving to the United States for college. Marty Holah
Martin Rowan "Marty" Holah (born 10 September 1976 in Hamilton, New Zealand) is a New Zealand rugby union player, who has played for Welsh regional side Ospreys, the Waikato provincial team and the Chiefs Super Rugby franchise. Holah was capped in 36 international test matches for the New Zealand national team, the All Blacks. Holah's contribution to the All Black starting XV was blocked by the emergence of Richie McCaw, the former All Black captain. Mark van Gisbergen (born 30 June 1977 in Hamilton, New Zealand) is a rugby union footballer who plays at fullback for Lyon and England. He is nicknamed 'Giz' or 'Gizzy'. Van Gisbergen's father is Dutch born whilst his mother is from New Zealand, meaning that the player holds both a New Zealand passport and a Netherlands passport. David Allister Bennett (born 28 October 1970) is a New Zealand National Party politician. He was first elected the Member of Parliament for Hamilton East in 2005, and became a list MP in 2020. Sosene Raymond Anesi (born 3 June 1981 in Apia, Samoa) is a former rugby union footballer who played as a fullback and wing and currently the head coach of CS Dinamo București. Career Anesi came from Samoa to New Zealand in 2000 on a rugby scholarship arranged between St Joseph's College in Apia and St John's College in Hamilton. Pope John XXIII ( la, Ioannes XXIII; it, Giovanni XXIII; born Angelo Giuseppe Roncalli, ; 25 November 18813 June 1963) was head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of the Vatican City State from 28 October 1958 until his death in June 1963.
