St Colman's High And Sixth Form College
St. Colman's High and Sixth Form College is a co-educational secondary school situated in Ballynahinch, County Down, Northern Ireland. History The college was established in 1965 as St. Colman's Secondary School. As it grew in size and the range of courses offered its name was changed to St. Colman's High and Sixth Form College. Although the college is formally Catholic it welcomes students from many different faiths including Baptist, Church of Ireland, Congregational, Methodist, Presbyterian, Seventh Day Adventist and other Christian Churches. Ballynahinch, County Down
Ballynahinch () is a town in County Down, Northern Ireland. It had a population of 5,703 people in the 2011 Census. Ballynahinch was traditionally a market town, although the market still takes place in the square every Thursday. The town lies on the main A24 road from Belfast to Clough, near Newcastle. Facilities in the town include a leisure centre. In recent years a regeneration committee has been formed for the development of the town and the surrounding Spa and Drumaness areas. Assumption Grammar School (also known as 'The Assumption', 'Assumption Grammar' or 'AGS’) is a Catholic girls' grammar school in Ballynahinch, County Down, Northern Ireland with over 900 students.
