Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB; Jawi: بندر سري بڬاوان; ) is the capital city of Brunei. It is officially a municipal area () with an area of and an estimated population of 100,700 as of 2007. Pengiran Anak Datin Seri Setia Hajah Siti Saerah (1928 – 4 November 2013), also referred to as Balabab Besar, was the eldest child and daughter of Sultan Ahmad Tajuddin and Kadayang Amas. Additionally, she was the eldest granddaughter of Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam II and Raja Isteri Fatimah, and first cousin to the current Brunei's Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. Steven Chong Wan Oon
Steven Chong Wan Oon () is a Brunei magistrate who was appointed chief justice of the Supreme Court of Brunei Darussalam in 2018. Early years Steven Chong Wan Oon was educated at St. George's School, Brunei, St George’s School Brunei. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree at the Dorset Institute of Higher Education. A year later he passed the Inns of Court School of Law examination to become a barrister of Lincoln's Inn in London. He became a magistrate in the Subordinate Court of Brunei in 1984. He was promoted to High Court judge in 2001. Chief Justice The Sultan of Brunei, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, appointed Steven Chong as chief justice of the Supreme Court as of 30 June 2018. Yassin Affandi
Muhammad Yasin bin Abdul Rahman (19 May 1922 – 18 July 2012), also known as Yassin Affandi, was a Bruneian politician who served as the president of the National Development Party from 2005 to 2010. He worked with A.M. Azahari during the Brunei revolt of 1962, when they called for the unification of Brunei, Sarawak, and North Borneo ( Sabah) under a single administration. Together with other rebels, they directed against Brunei's proposed inclusion in the Federation of Malaysia. Early life and education On 19 May 1922, Yassin was born in Kampong Sungai Matan, which is located outside of Bandar Seri Begawan.
