St. Ann's Rangers F.C.
La Horquetta Rangers F.C. (formerly known as St. Ann's Rangers) is a Trinidad and Tobago football team and a member of the TT Pro League. The team was based in St. Ann's and they played their home games at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Mucurapo. History St. Ann's Rangers is a football club hailing from the St. Ann, Port-of-Spain area. "Rangers" as the Club is commonly referred to, has represented the area of St. Ann's for over 30 years, competing at the highest levels of the game locally, fielding both Male (TT Pro League – Senior, Reserves, Youth) and Female (TTWoLF – Senior) teams. Although St. Ann's Rangers is one of the country's oldest football institutions, the team only made their debut in the Professional Football League in 2006. Hasely Crawford Stadium
The Hasely Crawford Stadium, formerly the National Stadium, is located in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. It was inaugurated and formally opened by Prime Minister George Chambers on 12 June 1982. On 30 December 1996, Prime Minister Basdeo Panday officially designated it "The Hasely Crawford Stadium", after the first person from Trinidad and Tobago to win an Olympic gold medal. History The stadium, which is sometimes used by the Trinidad and Tobago national football team, hosted the final of the 2001 FIFA U-17 World Championship. 2019–20 TT Pro League
The 2019–20 TT Pro League season is the 21st season of the TT Pro League, the Trinidad and Tobago professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1999. A total of eleven teams are contesting the league, with W Connection the defending champions from the 2018 season. League play officially started on 13 December 2019 and was originally to end in April 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Trinidad and Tobago, the league was cut short and Defence Force were crowned champions virtue of being top of the league by the time of cancellation. La Horquetta is a mixed neighbourhood in south Arima, 9 km (5 mi) south of the Arima town center in east Trinidad, Trinidad and Tobago. It is located in the south-eastern corner of the Tunapuna–Piarco region. The Trinidad and Tobago FA Trophy, is the premier knockout tournament for teams in Trinidad and Tobago that is open to all clubs affiliated with the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association. The FA Trophy is the oldest football competition in Trinidad and Tobago, dating back to 1927 when Shamrock claimed the inaugural trophy. Since the competition involves clubs of all standards playing against each other, there is the possibility for ' giant-killers' from the lower divisions of eliminating top clubs from the tournament and even theoretically win the trophy, although lower division teams rarely reach the final. The Trinidad and Tobago Classic, or commonly known as the TOYOTA Classic, is a knockout tournament for teams in Trinidad and Tobago's TT Pro League and National Super League. The football competition began in 2005, with TOYOTA as the primary sponsor, and is currently contested each October and November following the Pro League and Super League seasons. The inaugural competition was contested between San Juan Jabloteh and W Connection, with the ''Savonetta Boys'' claiming their first title with a 1–0 win. United Petrotrin claimed the trophy in 2006, as well as, Joe Public capturing their first in 2007.
