Sripada Kameswara Rao
Sripada Kameswara Rao (1877–1943) was an actor, translator and speaker. He translated Marathi, Oriya, Tamil, French and Punjabi dramas to Telugu. He published numerous reviews, such as one on the play ''Kanyasulkam'', that was published in 1933 in the Telugu literary journal ''Bharathi''. Rao translated other scholars' writings, such as Dwijendra Lal Rai's and P. C. Vasu's contributions to dramatic and literary criticism, into Telugu prose. He was a scholar who was well-versed in Eastern and Western culture. His son Sripada Pinakapani was a medical doctor and an acclaimed Carnatic musician, who was awarded the Padma Bhushan by Government of India. Rao's great-granddaughter, Chinmayi Sripada Chinmayi Sripaada is an Indian playback singer, working mainly for the South Indian film industry. Sripada Krishnamurty Sastry
Kaviraz Krishna Murthy Sastry, of Sripada family (29 October 1866 – 29 December 1960), a native of Devarapalli of West Godavari district, was the first poet laureate ((ఆస్థాన కవి ''Asţhānakavi'')) of Andhra Pradesh. He composed more than a hundred works in Telugu. He composed ‘Sri Krishnasweeyacharitam’, an autobiography in Sanskrit. Sripada Pinakapani
Sripada Pinakapaani (3 August 1913 – 11 March 2013), was a medical doctor, administrator, professor in medicine, and carnatic musician. He received Sangeetha Kalanidhi award in 1983. Pinkapani was born at Priya Agraharam of Srikakulam district. He spent three months in violin maestro Dwaram Venkataswamy Naidu's school. He joined M.B.B.S. in 1932. He completed M.D. in general medicine in December 1945 also from Andhra Medical College, under Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. Pinakapani worked as assistant professor at Madras Medical College from 1944 to 1949 and later at Andhra Medical College. He opted for Andhra Services and resigned to rejoin in the same post in 1951. He held the position of Professor of Medicine on 17 May 1954 and later transferred to Kurnool Medical College on 26 January 1957 and retired in the same position on 2 August 1968. Sripada Subrahmanya Sastry
Sripada Subrahmanya Sastry (1891–1961) was a Telugu writer from Andhra Pradesh. His predominant works include short stories, novels, literary essays. He also performed Avadhanam. He is called ''Adhunika Katha Chakravarthy'' (King of modern short stories) because of his contributions to Telugu literature. He translated entire Valmiki Ramayana into Telugu prose. He ran a magazine called ''Prabuddha Andhra'' for 9 years. Early life Subrahmanya Sastry was born on 23 April 1891 in Polamuru, East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh to a Brahmin family. His parents are Lakshmipati Somayajulu and Mahalakshmi Somidevamma demma. His father, a Shakha, Vedic scholar did not allow him to study anything except the traditional Hindu scriptures in Sanskrit.
