''Srijit Mukherji's Cop Universe'' is an Indian media franchise and shared universe created by Srijit Mukherji, consisting of media focusing on police officers who predominantly solve cases of serial killers. The universe was established by crossing over common plot elements, settings, cast, and characters. The first film, ''Baishe Srabon'' (2011) focuses on Probir Roy Chowdhury, an ex- DCP who is returned in his duty when incidents of serial killing begin in Kolkata. The Hungry Generation ( bn, হাংরি জেনারেশান) was a literary movement in the Bengali language launched by what is known today as the Hungryalist quartet, ''i.e.'' Shakti Chattopadhyay, Malay Roy Choudhury, Samir Roychoudhury and Debi Roy (''alias'' Haradhon Dhara), during the 1960s in Kolkata, India.
