Spring Tide (TV Series)
''Spring Tide'' ( sv, Springfloden) is a Swedish television drama series. It had its premiere on 6 March 2016 on SVT. It was written by Rolf and Cilla Börjlind and is based on their crime novel of the same name published in 2012. The two leads are played by Kjell Bergqvist (Tom Stilton) and Julia Ragnarsson (Olivia Rönning). Bergqvist won a Kristallen award for "Best Male Actor in a Television Series". The second series premiered in September 2018. Plot Season 1 – In August 1990, the sadistic murder of a pregnant woman is committed on the island of Nordkoster, western Sweden. The victim is buried alive in the sand, so that the rising tide slowly drowns her. In June 2015, the murder, known as the Beach Case ( sv, Strandfallet) remains unsolved. Olivia Rönning, a trainee at the Stockholm Police Academy, is assigned the cold case for a summer project. Värmdö (island)
Värmdö is an island in the innermost region of the Stockholm archipelago and covers an area of 181.40 km², making it the largest island in the archipelago. Värmdö is after Gotland and Öland the third largest island on the eastern coast of Sweden. Värmdö lies in Stockholm County. Santa Teresa is a small town in Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica. It is located about west of the capital city of San José. Malpais, Costa Rica
Malpais (9°36'03 N, 85°08'36 W) is a town in Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica which began as a fishing and cattle-farming village, and has become popular among surfers and adventure travelers around the world. Recently, Forbes Magazine voted the beaches of Malpais and neighboring Santa Teresa as "One of the ten most beautiful in the world." The town got its name from the fact that all the rivers and streams that flow into the beach in the area dry up in the summer season, making it a "bad land" to try to live in.
