Kulhudhuffushi (Dhivehi) is the capital of Haa Dhaalu Atoll administrative division on Thiladhunmathi Atoll in the north of the Maldives. Kulhudhuffushi is known as the "Heart of the North". The island is famous for its mangroves (''kulhi''), after which the island itself is named. History In the years 1812, 1819 and 1921, the island was affected by heavy rains and storms, causing substantial damage. The island was also affected during the Keylakunu storm which lost half the population of the island. Since then the island has been famous for unity and hardworkers around the Maldives. The Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH, dv, އިންދިރާ ގާންދީ މެމޯރިއަލް ހޮސްޕިޓަލް) is a state-owned Multi-Speciality hospital, and one of four hospitals in Malé, Republic of Maldives. The hospital is located at the west end of Malé. The hospital is a gift from the Indian Government and is dedicated to Indira Gandhi. It is the largest government healthcare facility, providing tertiary level healthcare in the Maldives. Located in the capital city Male’, with approximately 300 beds, IGMH provides services to around 150,000 people living in the city, plus specialist referral services for patients both domestic and foreign. Villa International Airport Maamigili , also known as Villa-Maamigili Airport, is an airport in the Maldives. It is located on the island of Maamigili in Alif Dhaal Atoll. The airport was developed by Maldivian business tycoon Qasim Ibrahim, who grew up in Maamigili, as a project to develop the infrastructure and facilities of the island. He has started a project to build new runways so planes from abroad visiting his resorts will be able to land directly on this airport, instead of having to stop off at Malé airport. It was developed and operated by his company, Villa Group, on land leased from the government. The airport opened up direct transportation facilities to two of their flagship resorts located on adjacent islands. The opening of the airport coincided with Villa's entry into the aviation industry, the founding of a new airline Villa Air (operating as ''Flyme''), to operate from the airport.
