Spider-Man's Tangled Web
''Spider-Man's Tangled Web'' is a comic book series starring Spider-Man and his supporting cast published by Marvel Comics for 22 issues from June 2001 to March 2003. Overview The title was conceived as an anthology series, where various creative teams not usually associated with Spider-Man (usually creators who had previously worked for alternative or Vertigo comics) could display their take on the character. Despite having his name in the title, Spider-Man was often an ancillary character in these stories, appearing on only a few pages or just making a cameo appearance. Sales on the series lagged behind the other Spider-Man titles throughout its run, and it was finally cancelled in 2003 to make way for the new ''The Spectacular Spider-Man'' vol. 2 comic by Paul Jenkins and Humberto Ramos. Glenn Fabry
Glenn Fabry (; born 24 March 1961) is a British comics artist known for his detailed, realistic work in both ink and painted colour. Career Glenn Fabry's career began in 1985, drawing ''Sláine (comics), Slaine'' for ''2000 AD (comics), 2000 AD'', with writer Pat Mills. He also worked with Mills on the newspaper strip ''Scatha'' in 1987. Painted work followed in ''Crisis (comic), Crisis'', ''Revolver (Fleetway comics), Revolver'' and ''Deadline magazine, Deadline''. In 1991 he took over painting the covers of ''Hellblazer'', then written by Garth Ennis. Flowers For Rhino
"Flowers for Rhino" is a Spider-Man story by Peter Milligan and Duncan Fegredo. Published in 2001, it is a pastiche of the science fiction story ''Flowers for Algernon''. "Flowers for Rhino" appeared in ''Spider-Man's Tangled Web'' #5–6. Plot summary Rhino, a brutish and dimwitted enemy of Spider-Man, suffers a mid-life crisis after he attempts to rescue Stella, the beautiful daughter of a mob boss, who coldly informs him after he is hired as a full-time bodyguard on the grounds that he is too stupid to be a serious romantic or business threat. Recalling a recent meeting with the doctors who created his latest suit, he undergoes a brain operation that turns him into a super genius. Zeb Wells is an American comic book writer known for his work at Marvel Comics, a television writer/director known for his work on the animated TV series ''Robot Chicken'', and the co-creator/showrunner of ''SuperMansion''. Career Wells is an Emmy and Annie Award-winning writer and actor for the TV show ''Robot Chicken'', including the Emmy-nominated '' Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode II''. He later directed the sixth and seventh seasons of Robot Chicken. The Vulture (Adrian Toomes) is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Toomes is an Invention, inventive, but maniacal genius who designed a special suit that allows him to fly at vast speeds. After turning to a life of crime, he became a recurring List of Spider-Man enemies, enemy of the superhero Spider-Man, and a founding member of the Sinister Six. A jay is a member of a number of species of medium-sized, usually colorful and noisy, passerine birds in the Crow family, Corvidae. Darwyn Cooke (November 16, 1962 – May 14, 2016) was a Canadian comics artist, writer, cartoonist, and animator who worked on the comic books ''Catwoman'', '' DC: The New Frontier'', ''The Spirit'' and '' Richard Stark's Parker: The Hunter''. His work has been honoured with numerous Eisner, Harvey, and Joe Shuster Awards. Early life Darwyn Cooke was born in Toronto on November 16, 1962. Cooke's father was a construction worker and later ran a union. Cooke's interest in creating comics began after watching ''Batman'' starring Adam West. Cooke's grandmother saved some of his earliest drawings, at 5 years old, of Batman and Robin in crayon on construction paper, with Cooke keeping them after her death. Electro (Maxwell "Max" Dillon) () is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, he was introduced in ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' #9 (Feb. 1964) as an adversary to the superhero Spider-Man. Electro has since endured as one of the web-slinger's List of Spider-Man enemies, most prominent foes, though he has also come into conflict with other heroes, most notably Daredevil (Marvel Comics character), Daredevil.
