''Spend the Night'' is the fifth studio album and major label debut by the American hard rock band The Donnas, released in 2002 on Atlantic Records. It was the band's first charting record on the ''Billboard'' 200, peaking at number 62, and features their most successful single, "Take It Off", which peaked at 19 on the ''Billboard'' Modern Rock Tracks chart. In November 2016 Cherry Red Records re-released the album to feature six bonus tracks, which consist of B-sides and songs from previous albums. The Donnas
The Donnas were an American rock band formed in Palo Alto, California, in 1993. The band consisted of Brett Anderson (lead vocals), Allison Robertson (guitar, backing vocals), Maya Ford (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Torry Castellano (drums, percussion, backing vocals). Amy Cesari replaced Castellano, who left the band in 2009 due to tendonitis. They drew inspiration from the Ramones, The Runaways, Girlschool, AC/DC, Bachman–Turner Overdrive and Kiss. ''Rolling Stone'' has stated that "the Donnas offer a guileless take on adolescent alienation; they traffic in kicks, not catharsis, fun rather than rage". The Hellacopters
The Hellacopters are a Swedish garage rock band that was formed in 1994 by Nicke Andersson (vocals and guitar), Andreas Tyrone "Dregen" Svensson (guitar), Kenny Håkansson (bass) and Robert Eriksson (drums). Andersson (sometimes known as Nick Royale) had been the drummer for death metal band Entombed and Dregen was taking a break from his full-time band Backyard Babies. Dregen and Eriksson had been roadies for Entombed, while Håkansson was a childhood friend of Andersson's. Torry Castellano
Torrance Heather Castellano (born January 8, 1979) is an American percussionist and the former drummer of The Donnas. She announced her retirement from drumming in July 2010. About Castellano was born in San Francisco, California. She met future bandmates Maya Ford, Brett Anderson (The Donnas), Brett Anderson and Allison Robertson in junior high school. They formed a band in 8th grade called ''Ragady Anne'', later calling themselves ''The Electrocutes'' at Palo Alto High School. Before the release of The Donnas' sixth studio album ''Gold Medal (album), Gold Medal'', Castellano developed tendinitis, tendonitis and in October 2003, she had surgery for it. Allison Rae Robertson (born August 26, 1979) is an American musician and the former guitarist for rock bands The Donnas and Chelsea Girls. Early life Allison Robertson was born on August 26, 1979, in North Hollywood, California. She comes from a musical family. Her father is musician Baxter Robertson who wrote the track "Feel The Night" on ''The Karate Kid'' soundtrack.
