Michael Florian Hadschieff (born 5 October 1963) is a former speed skater from Austria. Biography At the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Michael Hadschieff participated in all five distances (500 m - 1,000 m - 1,500 m - 5,000 m - 10,000 m), winning medals in two of those. This performance earned him the first place in the Adelskalender, the all-time allround speed skating ranking, taking over first place from Nikolay Gulyayev. Dmitry Yevgenyevich Bochkaryov (russian: Дмитрий Евгеньевич Бочкарёв) (born 28 December 1958, Leningrad) is a former speed skater from the Soviet Union. Bochkaryov most notable feat was a silver medal at the 1982 World Allround Speed Skating Championships for Men in Assen, Netherlands, behind Hilbert van der Duim. In 1981 he had already come close to a medal with a 4th place behind three Norwegian skaters in Oslo, while in 1983 he placed 5th, again in Oslo. In 1985 he became allround champion of the Soviet Union. He finished 6th at the 10.000 m event of the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, but could only reach 17th place at the 5.000 m event at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary. Rolf Falk-Larssen (born 21 February 1960) is a former speed skater. __NOTOC__ Representing Trondhjems Skøiteklub, Rolf Falk-Larssen made his international debut at the European Allround Championships of 1982 and he was in the lead after three distances. On the final distance (the 10,000 m), he was paired against Tomas Gustafson, the number two after three distances. With just one lap left to go in that 10,000 m, it seemed that Falk-Larssen would be crowned as the new European Champion, but Gustafson skated an extraordinary last lap, setting a new world record of 14:23.59, and beating Falk-Larssen (who skated a great 14:30.34– a new Norwegian record) by 0.021 points (equivalent to just 0.42 seconds of difference on the 10,000 m).
