The third promotional single is an electronic dance song "Super Style", which is also the theme song of Idol Drama '' KO One Re-act''. SpeXial is a Taiwanese boy band formed by Comic International Productions in 2012. The group name is a combination of "eXtra" and "Special", which expresses the desire of the group to be unique. The group started off with four members and debuted on December 7, 2012 with their self-titled album, ''SpeXial''. After several lineup changes, the group's final line-up consists of only three members: Win, Ian, and Dylan. Their fandom name is SXF (Chinese: 特使), which represents "Special Mission". On May 21–22, 2016, SpeXial held their first major concert "SpeXial the 1st concert - SpeXial Land 2016" at Xinzhuang Gymnasium in New Taipei City, with a guest appearance by Pets Tseng. Mandopop
Mandopop or Mandapop refers to Standard Chinese, Mandarin popular music. The genre has its origin in the jazz-influenced popular music of 1930s Shanghai known as Shidaiqu; with later influences coming from Japanese enka, Hong Kong's Cantopop, Taiwan's Hokkien pop, and in particular the School campus song, Campus Song folk movement of the 1970s. 'Mandopop' may be used as a general term to describe popular songs performed in Mandarin. Though Mandopop predates Cantopop, the English term was coined around 1980 after "Cantopop" became a popular term for describing popular songs in Cantonese. Boyband
A boy band is loosely defined as a vocal group consisting of young male singers, usually in their teenage years or in their twenties at the time of formation. Generally, boy bands perform love songs marketed towards girls and young women. Many boy bands dance as well as sing, usually giving highly choreographed performances. South Korean boy bands usually also have designated rappers. Some such bands are formed on their own, often evolving out of church choral or gospel music groups. Sam Lin (, born October 1, 1993) is Taiwanese actor and singer. He was a first generation member of the Taiwanese boy group SpeXial, from 2012 to 2020. In 2019, he formed the music duo, the Dragon Tiger Brothers, with his SpeXial bandmate Brent Hsu. Biography Sam and his high school friend Brent were both discovered by talent agency Comic Communications, which were in the midst of producing a four-member boy band to succeed Fahrenheit. After successfully winning a series of auditions, both Sam and Brent were selected to be part of the first generation of SpeXial, alongside Wes Lo and Wayne Huang. Sam's position in the group was center and rapper. SpeXial debuted on December 7, 2012 with the release of their self-titled debut album.
