The South Korean Footballer of the Year, officially known as Korea Football Association Player of the Year, is an annual award presented to the best South Korean football player in a calendar year by Korea Football Association (KFA). KASA Best Footballer The KFA recommended the best Korean footballer of the year, who would be awarded a citation by the Korea Amateur Sports Association (KASA), from 1957 to 1972. Most Valuable Player South Korean journalists selected the best players from 1969 to 1984 under the KFA. The KFA also chose the best players in some other years by itself. Fans' Player of the Year The KFA held an annual poll to select Korean fans' best player in its website from 2003 to 2015. Kim Ho
Kim Ho (; born 24 November 1944) is a South Korean former football player and manager. Early life Kim was born in Tongyeong, a coastal city of South Korea, and started football in his hometown. He originally joined Tongyeong High School when he became old enough to join a high school, but there was no football club. He transferred to Jinju High School the next year to learn football professionally. However, he experienced a slump in Jinju, and once again moved to another school, Dongnae High School in Busan. Kim respected the Dongnae's manager An Jong-soo, and followed him into a semi-professional club Cheil Industries instead of university. International career Kim was on the South Korea national team from 1966 to 1972, and won the 1970 Asian Games. Kim Ho-kon (; born 26 March 1951) is a South Korean Association football, football manager and former football player who played as a Defender (association football)#Sweeper (libero), sweeper or Defender (association football)#Full-back, right back. Lee Hoe-taik (이회택, born 11 October 1946) is a former South Korean football player and manager. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest South Korean forwards of all time. He is also one of four players inducted into the Korean FA Hall of Fame. Early life Lee started his youth career late in high school, but showed a fast development. He was selected for the South Korea national team three years after beginning football in earnest. Goyang KB Kookmin Bank FC ( ko, 고양 KB국민은행 축구단) was a South Korean football club based in the Seoul satellite city of Goyang. It played in the National League, the third tier of Korean football. The club was officially dissolved in November 2012. K-League Membership Kookmin Bank FC was founded in September 1969 and competed in the various amateur football competitions at the time.
