South Florida Bulls Women's Soccer
The South Florida Bulls women's soccer team represents the University of South Florida in the sport of soccer. The Bulls currently compete in the American Athletic Conference within Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The Bulls play in Corbett Stadium along with USF's men's soccer team, which opened in 2011. Prior to that, they played at what is now the USF Track and Field Stadium. The Bulls have reached the NCAA Tournament seven times and have won seven combined regular season and tournament conference championships. History T. Logan Fleck era (1995–2006) USF's women's soccer team was founded in 1995, exactly 30 years after the men's soccer team began play as the first sports team in USF history. The first women's soccer coach in USF history was T. Logan Fleck, who also served as USF's men's soccer coach from 1994 to 1996. Michael Kelly (athletic Director)
Michael Kelly is an American college athletics administrator. He is currently the athletic director at the University of South Florida, a position he has held since 2018, as well as a member of the NCAA Division I Council since 2021. Prior to becoming the AD at USF, Kelly served in many high level positions throughout college athletics, including as associate commissioner of the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Chief Operating Officer for the College Football Playoff. He is the first person to serve as the president of the Super Bowl host committee for three different communities, doing so for Super Bowl XXXV in Tampa, Super Bowl XXXIX in Jacksonville, and Super Bowl XLI in Miami. He was also the executive director for the organizing committee for the 1999 Men's Final Four, which was held in St. Petersburg. 2020 South Florida Bulls Women's Soccer Team
The 2020 South Florida Bulls women's soccer team represents the University of South Florida during the 2020 NCAA Division I women's soccer season. The regular season began on February 7, 2021 (due to delay brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic) and concluded on April 11. It is the program's 26th season fielding a women's soccer team, and their 8th season in the American Athletic Conference. The 2020 season is Denise Schilte-Brown's 14th year as head coach for the program. The Bulls completed the regular season unbeaten for the first time in program history, with seven wins, zero losses, and two ties. They won the American Athletic Conference regular season title for the third time overall and second time in three years, then won the conference tournament for the second season in a row to clinch the AAC's autobid to the NCAA Tournament. Evelyne Viens (born 6 February 1997) is a Canadian professional Association football, soccer player who plays as a Forward (association football), forward for Damallsvenskan club Kristianstads DFF, Kristianstads, on loan from National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) club NJ/NY Gotham FC, and the Canada women's national soccer team, Canada national team.
