South African Cricket Team In Sri Lanka In 2013
The South Africa national cricket team, South African cricket team toured Sri Lanka from 20 July to 6 August 2013. The tour consisted of five One Day International and three Twenty20 International matches. Sri Lankan ODI captain Angelo Mathews was suspended for the first two ODI matches due to maintaining a slow over-rate during the final match of the West Indies Triangular Series in 2013, West Indies tri-nation series. The other members of the Sri Lanka team were fined 40% of their match fees. Dinesh Chandimal served as captain in Mathews' stead making him, at 23, the youngest ODI captain in the history of Sri Lankan cricket. Angelo Mathews
Angelo Davis Mathews, (Tamil: அஞ்செலோ மத்தியூஸ்; born 2 June 1987) is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer and a former captain in all formats. Even though he represented Sri Lanka in all three formats, Mathews currently plays Test cricket for Sri Lanka. He was also a key member of the team that won the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 and was part of the team that made the finals of 2011 Cricket World Cup, 2009 ICC World Twenty20 and 2012 ICC World Twenty20. An occasional bowler who can deliver swinging match-winning spells, Mathews and Lasith Malinga holds the record for the highest ninth wicket partnership in ODI cricket. Tillakaratne Mudiyanselage Dilshan ( si, තිලකරත්න මුදියන්සේලාගේ ඩිල්ෂාන්; born 14 October 1976), commonly known as TM Dilshan () is a former Sri Lankan cricketer and former captain of the Sri Lanka national cricket team. Quinton De Kock
Quinton de Kock (born 17 December 1992) is a South African cricketer and former captain of the Proteas in all three formats. He currently plays for South Africa in limited overs cricket, Titans at the domestic level, and Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League. Farhaan Behardien (born 9 October 1983) is a South African former international cricketer who played ODIs and T20Is. On 10 January 2017, Behardien was appointed as the T20I captain for the Sri Lanka tour. Early and domestic career He also plays for Nashua Titans. Hashim Mahomed Amla OIS (born 31 March 1983) is a South African former international cricketer who played for South Africa in all three formats of the game. Ranasinghe Arachchige Suranga Lakmal ( si, රණසිංහ ආරච්චිගේ සුරංග ලක්මාල්; born 10 March 1987) is a former professional Sri Lankan cricketer, who played in all formats of the game and is a former Test cricket captain. Narangoda Liyanaarachchige Thisara Chirantha Perera ( si, තිසර පෙරේරා; born 3 April 1989), popularly as Thisara Perera, is a former Sri Lankan international cricketer who played all formats for the national team. He also captained the team in limited-overs formats. Ranaweera Mudiyanselage Shaminda Eranga (born 23 June 1986), or Shaminda Eranga, is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer. He studied at St. Mary's College in Chilaw. Jehan Mubarak ( ta, ஜெகன் முபாரக்; born 10 January 1981) is an American-born former professional Sri Lankan cricketer, who played all formats of the game. He is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm offbreak bowler. Angelo Perera
Angelo Kanishka Perera (born 23 February 1990), or Angelo Perera, is a former professional cricketer, who played limited over cricket for Sri Lanka. He is a right-handed batsman and left-arm slow bowler who plays for Nondescripts Cricket Club. He was born in Moratuwa and attended to St Peter's College, Colombo. In 2019, he became only the second batsman after Arthur Fagg to score double centuries in both innings of any first class match. Perera retired from international cricket in January 2022, having last playing for the national team in 2019.
