''Sour Diesel II'' is the fourth studio album by underground rapper and former Army of the Pharaohs member Doap Nixon.The album was released on July 23, 2019. Background On February 24, 2014, it was announced that Doap Nixon was working on his fourth studio album, titled ''Sour Diesel 2'', a sequel to his debut album ''Sour Diesel''. It was confirmed he was working on a single called "Prison Rap" which was said to be featuring Sean Price. The album was released on June 20, 2019, after being in production for four years. It featured vocals from Army of the Pharaoh members Vinnie Paz, Lawrence Arnell, Reef the Lost Cauze, and Planetary, as well as vocals from Sean Price and Good Money. He released the music video for the third single of the album, ''Philly Streets'' in August 10, 2019. Kenneth Greene (born August 12, 1984), better known by his stage name Doap Nixon, is an American hip hop artist and rapper who is a former member of supergroup Army of the Pharaohs. He has collaborated with a variety of underground hip hop artists and released his debut full solo album, ''Sour Diesel'' in 2008. In 2009, it was announced that Army of the Pharaohs was working on their third studio album, titled ''The Unholy Terror''. It was confirmed that Doap Nixon was to make a comeback in the group and featured on the album. Reef The Lost Cauze
Sharif Talib Lacey, better known by his stage name Reef the Lost Cauze, is an underground hip hop artist based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Cauze became well known on the underground circuit towards the late 1990s and more so in the early 2000s, making his mark by winning many battle competitions within New York and interstate and displaying rare skills of what many called true MCing. Seamus Ryan (born July 24, 1978), better known by his stage name Esoteric, is a Boston-based underground hip-hop artist. Esoteric is half of the hip hop duo 7L & Esoteric, a third of Czarface and is a member of underground hip-hop collectives Army of the Pharaohs and Demigodz. He started his solo career in 2007. Career 1993-1996: Early career and "7L & Esoteric" The duo formed in 1993 when Esoteric DJed a hip hop show at a college radio station, WMWM 91.7FM north of Boston. 7L, a DJ and producer who listened to the show, contacted Esoteric in the interest of collaborating. Victor Gurrola Jr., better known by his stage name Zilla (formerly VG Skillz and V-Zilla), is an American underground rapper and producer from Houston, Texas. He is known for his style of rap, which combines East Coast hip hop with his native Southern hip hop. Vincenzo Luvineri (born October 5, 1977), better known as Vinnie Paz (formerly known as Ikon the Verbal Hologram), is a Sicilian Americans, Sicilian American rapper and producer behind the Philadelphia underground hip hop group Jedi Mind Tricks. A diss track, diss record or diss song (diss – abbr. from ''disrespect'') is a song whose primary purpose is to verbally attack someone else, usually another artist. Diss tracks are often the result of an existing, escalating feud between the two people; for example, the artists involved may be former members of a group, or artists on rival labels. In economics, Gresham's law is a monetary principle stating that "bad money drives out good". For example, if there are two forms of commodity money in circulation, which are accepted by law as having similar face value, the more valuable commodity will gradually disappear from circulation. Mario Collazo (born August 8, 1978), better known by his stage name Planetary, is an American underground rapper from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is one half of the rap duo OuterSpace and a member of Army of the Pharaohs. Biography Early career (1995-1999) Planetary started rapping with high school friends Marcus Albaladejo and Richard Cruz. The trio later went on to form the group OuterSpace. The group originally started to form in the early 90s and eventually lead to an alliance with fellow Philadelphians Jedi Mind Tricks and their label Superegular Recordings. Lawrence Arnell is an American rapper and producer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He first collaborated with hip hop group Jedi Mind Tricks on ''Violent by Design'' under the name Diamondback in 2000. In 2014, Arnell joined Army of the Pharaohs and appeared on their studio albums ''In Death Reborn'' and '' Heavy Lies the Crown''. Biography 1995–2006: Early career Arnell started off his career as an MC/singer/songwriter. At 19 years old, he caught the eye of Tommy Boy Records as a member of the hip-hop collective Deadly Snakes.
