''Sounding a Mosaic'' is the second album from the Canadian rock band Bedouin Soundclash. The album was released on September 7, 2004. Recorded in Montreal and produced by Darryl Jenifer of Bad Brains, the album spawned the hit single "When the Night Feels My Song" which reached #1 on the Canada singles chart. The album had two more singles, "Shelter" and "Gyasi Went Home". The album was certified platinum by the CRIA with over 100,000 copies sold across Canada. Bedouin Soundclash
Bedouin Soundclash is a Canadian band based in Toronto and consisting of vocalist and guitarist Jay Malinowski, bass player Eon Sinclair and drummer Chuck Treece. Their sound has been described as a combination of reggae and ska. Bedouin Soundclash was formed in 2001, and has released six studio albums, most recently in 2022. History The band members met while attending Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. The name Bedouin Soundclash is from a dub record by Badawi, released on ROIR records in 1996. They released their first album, ''Root Fire'' in 2001, and their second album, ''Sounding a Mosaic'', in 2004. 'Til Shiloh
''Til Shiloh'' is the fourth album by Jamaican dancehall artist Buju Banton, released in 1995 by Loose Cannon Records, a short-lived subsidiary of Island Records.Cooke, Mel (2015)Two Decades Since Til Shiloh, ''Jamaica Gleaner'', July 19, 2015. He is considered to be one of the most significant and well-regarded artists in Jamaican music. "When the Night Feels My Song" is a song by Canadian alternative rock group Bedouin Soundclash released in 2004 as the lead single from their debut album ''Sounding a Mosaic''. It features a reggae/soft rock sound. When this song was first released in the UK in 2005, it reached number 24 in the charts. However, the song was later used as part of a T-Mobile advertising campaign and was re-released in October 2006. From 2007 to 2013, it was also used in the bumpers and credits of Kids' CBC, the children's block of CBC Television. Bad Brains are an American rock band formed in Washington, D.C. in 1976. Reggae
Reggae () is a music genre that originated in Jamaica in the late 1960s. The term also denotes the modern popular music of Jamaica and its diaspora.
