Sound On Sound Fest
Sound on Sound Fest (often abbreviated as SOS Fest) was a three-day Music festival, music, Comedy festival, comedy, Multi-sport event, action sports and camping festival held 35 miles east of downtown Austin, Texas, at the Sherwood Forest Faire, home to an annual renaissance fair, and medieval-style village, set on 23 acres and located in the heart of the Lost Pines Forest region of Central Texas. SOS Fest celebrated its inaugural year November 4–6, 2016 with notable performers such as Beach House, Phantogram (band), Phantogram, Young Thug, Courtney Barnett, Death Grips, Tim Heidecker and more. Stephen Lee Bruner (born October 19, 1984), better known by his stage name Thundercat, is an American bass guitarist, singer, producer, and songwriter from Los Angeles. Jousting is a martial game or hastilude between two horse riders wielding lances with blunted tips, often as part of a tournament (medieval), tournament. The primary aim was to replicate a clash of heavy cavalry, with each participant trying to strike the opponent while riding towards him at high speed, breaking the lance on the opponent's shield or jousting armour if possible, or unhorsing him. A skateboard is a type of sports equipment used for skateboarding. They are usually made of a specially designed 7-8 ply maple plywood deck and polyurethane wheels attached to the underside by a pair of skateboarding trucks. Fun Fun Fun Fest (often abbreviated as "FFF" or "F3F") was an annual music and comedy festival held in Austin, Texas, United States. The festival was the only genre based festival in the United States, featuring stages that focused specifically on hip-hop / electronica, indie rock, punk / metal, and comedy. Started in 2006, the festival focused on a combination of discovering emerging talent and putting together rarely seen or anticipated reunion performances. Being based in Austin (The Live Music Capital of the World), FFF had the unique opportunity to work with newer performers that had yet to experience the national stage. Graham Williams (born January 15, 1978) is a concert promoter based in Austin, Texas, USA, and a partner in the Austin-based booking agencTransmission Entertainment He was the booker and manager of the Austin music venue Emo's from the late 1990s to mid-2007. Williams was born and raised in Austin, Texas, except for a brief period in Virginia while his mother attended UVA and his father worked at UVA Medical Center.
