''Sorry, You Can't Get Through!'' ( it, Nessun messaggio in segreteria) is a 2005 Italian comedy film written and directed by Paolo Genovese and Luca Miniero. Plot Walter is a lonely pensioner still full of energy and imagination; convinced by a newspaper article that for every young man who works there is an elderly person who stays at home, Walter decides to go and find this young man, and to help him by hanging around. Helped by little Sara, his only friend and ally, and mocked by a cynical doorkeeper, Walter picks Piero, a tireless but shy worker. Paolo Genovese
Paolo Genovese (born 20 August 1966) is an Italian director and screenwriter. Life and career Born in Rome, after graduating in Economics and Business Genovese started his career at McCann Erickson, directing over one hundred commercials and winning several awards. Gianfranco Funari (21 March 1932 – 12 July 2008) was an Italian television host, writer, stand-up comedian and actor. Biography Funari was born in Rome, where his father was a coachman.
