Sonali Nikam is an Indian television actress. She is best known for playing the lead role Jassi in her show ''Aadhe Adhoore'', which explored infidelity in rural India. Before her breakthrough role as Jassi, she has essayed parallel lead roles in many hit TV series such as ''Geet Hui Sabse Parayee'' and ''Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara''. ''Aadhe Adhoore'' is an Indian television series which aired on Zindagi (TV channel), Zindagi from 14 December 2015 to 12 April 2016. The story revolved around Jassi who lives in rural Kapurthala district, Kapurthala in Punjab, India, Punjab with a loving mother-in-law and her brother-in-law as her husband works abroad. The show touched on themes of unrequited love and adultery. Despite a complex storyline and well-received acting performances, the show was cancelled after viewers thought the show depicted a characterless woman in Jassi. Sony SAB (formerly SAB TV) is an Indian pay television channel owned by Culver Max Entertainment. Sahara One is an Indian Hindi general entertainment channel based in New Delhi. It is operated by Sahara India Pariwar. History Sahara One was launched as Sahara TV on 28 March 2000, which later in April 2003 was renamed as Sahara Manoranjan.
