Something To Die For
''Something to Die For'' is the fourth studio album by the Swedish new wave band The Sounds. Unlike their previous albums it is dominated by electronic music leaning towards house and synthpop and was completely produced by The Sounds. Background On January 6, 2011, the band announced that their next album would be titled ''Something To Die For'', and was scheduled to be released the week of March 29, 2011. Lead singer Maja Ivarsson has also been confirmed as appearing on pop punk band All Time Low's new album '' Dirty Work'' as a guest vocalist on the track "Guts". Singles The first single from their new album, "Better Off Dead", was released on February 1, 2011. The Sounds
The Sounds are a Swedish indie rock band. Formed in Helsingborg in 1998, the group's musical style has been compared to new wave acts such as Blondie, The Cars, the Epoxies and Missing Persons. Their debut album, '' Living in America'', was released in 2002, with the follow-up '' Dying to Say This to You'' in 2006. Their third album, '' Crossing the Rubicon'', was released in 2009, and their fourth, '' Something to Die For'', was released in 2011. Their fifth album, ''Weekend'', was released in 2013. In 2017, the band released a four-track EP, ''The Tales That We Tell''. B-side
The A-side and B-side are the two sides of phonograph records and cassettes; these terms have often been printed on the labels of two-sided music recordings. The A-side usually features a recording that its artist, producer, or record company intends to be the initial focus of promotional efforts and radio airplay and hopefully become a hit record. ''Hawaii Five-0'' is an American action police procedural television series that centers around a special police major crimes task force operating at the behest of the governor of Hawaii. Metric is a Canadian rock band founded in 1998 in Toronto, Ontario. The band consists of Emily Haines (lead vocals, synthesizers, guitar, tambourine, harmonica, piano), James Shaw (guitar, synthesizers, theremin, backing vocals), Joshua Winstead (bass, synthesizers, backing vocals) and Joules Scott-Key (drums, percussion). Emily Savitri Haines (born 25 January 1974) is a Canadian singer and songwriter. She is the lead singer, keyboardist and songwriter of the rock band Metric and a member of the musical collective Broken Social Scene. As a solo artist, she has performed under her own name and as Emily Haines & The Soft Skeleton. Haines possesses the vocal range of a mezzo-soprano.
