The Moog
The Moog were a Hungarian indie rock band based in Budapest, Hungary formed in 2004. The group is noted for being the first in the region to be signed to an American record label. The band consists of members Tamás Szabó (vocals, keyboard), Gergő Dorozsmai (drums, percussion), Ádám Bajor (guitar), Gergő (a.k.a. Miguel) György (guitar) and Csaba Szabó (bass guitar). Indie Rock
Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand from the 1970s to the 1980s. Originally used to describe independent record labels, the term became associated with the music they produced and was initially used interchangeably with alternative rock or "Pop rock, guitar pop rock". Razzmatazz Orfeum is the second studio album recorded by The Moog. The album was produced by Geoff Ott (Pearl Jam, Queen Of The Stone Age, Mark Lanegan) and recorded in Seattle, Washington, The United States. The first single, ''You Raised A Vampire'', was released in colored vinyl 7" with stunning artwork by Gris Grimly. The 7" also includes a B-side cover (recorded in Budapest, Citysound Studio, recording engineer Marton Palinkas, mixed and mastered by Geoff Ott, Seattle) of the Bauhaus classic ''The Passion Of Lovers'' featuring Bauhaus/ Love and Rockets bassist/vocalist David J, who became a fan of the band after seeing them perform in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California in 2008. AllMusic (previously known as All Music Guide and AMG) is an American online music database. It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands.
