''Sol da Liberdade'' (Portuguese language, Portuguese for ''Sun of freedom'') is the fifth studio album by Daniela Mercury, released in April 2000 in Brazil through Bertelsmann Music Group, BMG. Two of its singles, "Ilê Pérola Negra (song), Ilê Pérola Negra" and "Como Vai Você", became number-one hits in Brazil. The other single released from the album, "Santa Helena", peaked at number twenty-six. Daniela Mercury (born Daniela Mercuri de Almeida on July 28, 1965) is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, dancer, producer, actress and television host. Milton Nascimento (; born October 26, 1942), also known as Bituca, is a Brazilian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He has toured across the world.
