Soccersouth Premier League
The Southern Premier League (known as the ODT Southern Men's Premier League for sponsorship reasons) is a New Zealand association football league competition administered by Southern Football involving clubs from the lower half of the South Island of New Zealand. Five of the clubs are from Dunedin and one each are from Wānaka, Queenstown, Mosgiel, Timaru, and Invercargill. The league has also previously included an Otago youth development team. There is currently a U-15 Development League that runs alongside the competition. Until 2009, the league was known as the SoccerSouth Premier League. Since the inception of the competition, it has been dominated by Dunedin City Royals and the two predecessor teams which merged to form that club, Caversham AFC and Dunedin Technical. The league was expanded from eight to ten clubs at the start of the 2022 season, with the addition of teams from Timaru and Invercargill. Oceania Football Confederation
The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) is one of the six continental confederations of international association football. The OFC has 13 members, 11 of which are full members and two which are associate members not affiliated with FIFA. It promotes the game in Oceania and allows the List of men's national association football teams#OFC (Oceania), member nations to qualify for the FIFA World Cup. OFC is predominantly made up of island nations where association football is not the most popular sport, with low GDP and low population meaning very little money is generated by the OFC nations. Invercargill

Roslyn-Wakari
Roslyn-Wakari Association Football Club is an association football club based in Dunedin, New Zealand. They compete in the FootballSouth Premier League. History The club's history began in 1888 when the Wakari Football Association first played in the local Dunedin league. This was only 44 years after the foundation of Dunedin, and the club is one of the oldest existing football clubs in the country (the oldest, North Shore United, was founded in 1886). The Wakari AFC consisted of 14 members with 11 or 12 playing members. The first committee included Sir Robert Stout (Premier of NZ 1884–1897) as its president. Northern AFC
Founded in 1888 Northern AFC is the oldest continually operating football club in the Southern Hemisphere. Based in North Dunedin, the club has 12 Senior teams playing in the Football South Federation region. The club also has a Junior football club with teams from 6th grade to Youth grade playing in the local Dunedin competitions. Otago University AFC is a semi-professional association football club in Dunedin, New Zealand. The Men's First team competes in the Southern Premier League and has previously competed in the Southern League. The Women's First Team competes in the Women's South Island League. Queens Park AFC is a football club, based in Invercargill, New Zealand. The club participates in the Southern Football Premier League. and has its home ground at Surrey Park. History Queens Park Association Football Club was formed in 1957 by Alexander Stojkovich and in 1958 the team made its debut in the local Invercargill Second Grade competition. In 1960 the senior team was promoted to the premier Southland competition, the Donald Gray Memorial Cup. Northern Hearts
Northern Hearts is an association football club based in Timaru, New Zealand. The club was founded in 1947 and from 1982 to 1990 was amalgamated with Timaru City as South Canterbury United.
