"So Many Ways" is a song by American vocal group the Braxtons, released on July 23, 1996 as the lead single from their debut album, ''So Many Ways'' (1996). The song was written by Carl-So-Lowe, Jermaine Dupri and produced by Dupri. It was also featured on the ''High School High'' soundtrack (1996). The song charted at 83 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and 22 on the ''Billboard'' R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. It also reached the top 40 in the UK, charting at 32 and in New Zealand, the song charted at 17. The Braxtons
The Braxtons are an American musical quintet consisting of singer Toni Braxton and her younger sisters, Traci Braxton, Towanda Braxton, Trina Braxton, and Tamar Braxton. Despite being commercially unsuccessful, the group's first single, " Good Life", led to oldest sister Toni's solo career. All five members reunited in 2011 to star in the WE tv reality television series ''Braxton Family Values'' alongside their mother, Evelyn Braxton. R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay (previously known as Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay) is a chart published by ''Billboard'' magazine that ranks the top R&B and hip hop songs in the United States, based on audience impressions from a panel of radio stations monitored by Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems. It was also used in sister publication '' R&R'', which listed the chart as Urban National Airplay. The chart is not the R&B/hip-hop subset of the Hot 100 Airplay chart, but rather uses a separate panel of R&B stations in urban and urban adult contemporary markets. Jade is an American girl group, originally composed of Joi Marshall, Tonya Kelly, and Di Reed. History The group Jade was originally composed of Joi Marshall, Angela Slates and Debra Mitchell and, as such, was first known as JAD. Producer Vassal Benford sold the song " I Wanna Love You" before Marshall, Slates and Mitchell’s voices were recorded on the song. In order to keep the song on the soundtrack for the 1992 Kid 'n Play comedy ''Class Act'', Benford had to reproduce the song with the actual voices of the group members. When that could not be accomplished he implored the record label to drop Slates and Mitchell from the group and replace them with Di Reed and Tonya Kelly who were the voices on the song and who were signed to his production company.
