Captain Cold
Captain Cold (Leonard Snart) is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. He is the leader of the Rogues, a loose criminal association, as well as the older brother of Golden Glider. An adversary of the various superheroes known as the Flash, he has served as one of Barry Allen's archenemies, both adversary and begrudging ally of Wally West, and one of the killers of Bart Allen. As part of 2011's The New 52 reboot, Captain Cold and his team live by a code to never kill. The character has been substantially adapted from the comics into various forms of media, including television series and video games. Actor Wentworth Miller portrayed Captain Cold in The CW's Arrowverse television series ''The Flash'' and ''Legends of Tomorrow''. In 2009, Captain Cold was ranked as IGN’s 27th Greatest Comic Book Villain of All Time. Golden Glider (Lisa Snart) is a supervillainess appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. She is the younger sister of Captain Cold and an enemy of The Flash. Lisa Snart appeared in the first and second seasons of ''The Flash'', portrayed by Peyton List. Publication history Created by Cary Bates and Irv Novick, the character made her first appearance in ''The Flash'' #250 (June 1977). Editor Julius Schwartz was also involved in the character's creation, and may have been responsible for the name Golden Glider. Fictional character biography Lisa Snart is a figure skater, known by the alias Lisa Star, who has help in her career from her secret coach and lover, The Top, a foe of Flash Barry Allen who dies from complications stemming from a duel with the scarlet speedster. ''Bedknobs and Broomsticks'' is a 1971 American live-action animated musical fantasy film directed by Robert Stevenson and produced by Bill Walsh for Walt Disney Productions. It is loosely based upon the books '' The Magic Bedknob; or, How to Become a Witch in Ten Easy Lessons'' (1944) and ''Bonfires and Broomsticks'' (1947) by English children's author Mary Norton. The film stars Angela Lansbury, David Tomlinson, John Ericson, and introduces Ian Weighill, Cindy O'Callaghan, and Roy Snart. During the early 1960s, ''Bedknobs and Broomsticks'' entered development when the negotiations for the film rights to ''Mary Poppins'' (1964) were placed on hold. When the rights were acquired, the film was shelved repeatedly due to the similarities with ''Mary Poppins'' until it was revived in 1969.
