William Berke
William A. Berke (born October 3, 1903 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin – died February 15, 1958 in Los Angeles, California) was an American film director, producer, actor and screenwriter. He wrote, directed, and/or produced some 200 films over a three-decade career. Biography Berke broke into motion pictures in 1922 as a writer for silent westerns. For these assignments he used the pseudonym "William Lester." In the early 1930s he formed a partnership with independent producer Bernard B. Ray to make feature films at Ray's Reliable Pictures studio, next door to the Columbia Pictures studio. Berke, now using his own name for screen credits, was equally capable making comedies, mysteries, action adventures, and westerns. In 1942 he joined Columbia, at first directing that studio's Charles Starrett and Russell Hayden westerns, and then branching out into more mainstream fare. William Forrest (actor)
William Forrest (October 10, 1902 – January 26, 1989) was an American theatre, film, and television actor. Biography Forest attended Princeton University, where he was a star in athletics. His acting career began in 1938 at the Pasadena Playhouse, and he appeared in more than 250 films between 1939 and 1977. He was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and died in Santa Monica, California, from heart failure. Paul Campbell (American Actor)
Paul Campbell (February 27, 1923 – March 17, 1999), was an American film actor. He appeared in over 30 films between 1947 and 1959. Campbell was best known for his work at Columbia Pictures, where he usually portrayed tall, handsome leading men of the western genre. Modern viewers will recognize him as Clarence Cassidy, the cowardly cowboy in The Three Stooges film ''Merry Mavericks''. Campbell died on March 17, 1999, in New York City. Harlan Warde (born Harlan Ward Lufkin; November 6, 1917 – March 13, 1980) was a character actor active in television and movies. Career Warde showed up in supporting roles as detectives, doctors, and ministers. Warde made five guest appearances on ''Perry Mason'' between 1958–1966, primarily in law enforcement roles, such as Assistant District Attorney Harold Hanley in "The Case of the Haunted Husband", and Sgt. Roddin in the only color episode in 1966 entitled, "The Case of the Twice Told Twist". From 1958–62, he joined Chuck Connors in ''The Rifleman''. Warde played John Hamilton, President of the North Fork Bank.
