Slovenian Olympic Committee ( sl, Olimpijski komite Slovenije, OKS) ensures the participation of Slovenian athletes at the Olympic Games, the Mediterranean Games, and the European Youth Olympic Festival. Ukraine At The 2015 European Games
Ukraine competed at the 2015 European Games, in Baku, Azerbaijan from 12 to 28 June 2015. Ukrainian stamp (2015) Medalists Competitors Ukraine was represented by 240 athletes in 15 sports. Ukraine did not compete in athletics since it was combined with the European Team Championships Third League competition and Ukraine was at that time in the Super League division. Ukraine was represented by the maximum number of athletes in archery, beach soccer, diving, gymnastics, synchronised swimming, table tennis, triathlon and wrestling. Archery Ukraine achieved maximum quotas. Men's team qualified through the performance at the 2014 European Archery Championships in Echmiadzin and women's team through 2015 European Archery Grand Prix in Marathon. The women's individual recurve competition at the 2015 European Games was held from 16 to 19 June 2015 at the Tofiq Bahramov Stadium in Baku, Azerbaijan. One of five events comprising the inaugural European Games' archery programme, it featured a total of 62 archers from 30 different nations. Karina Winter of Germany won the gold medal, defeating the reigning world champion Maja Jager of Denmark in the final. Spain's Alicia Marín won the bronze medal ahead of Greece's Evangelia Psarra. Background Qualification Qualification for the European Games took place at the European Archery Championships in Echmiadzin, Armenia in July 2014 and at a final qualifying tournament held during the European Grand Prix in Marathon, Greece in March 2015. Lucas Daniel (born 1 January 1995) is a French competitive archer. He attained a fourth-place finish in the men's team recurve at the 2015 European Games, and eventually competed as a member of the French archery squad at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Daniel was selected to compete for the French squad at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, shooting in both individual and team recurve tournaments.
