Slate Nation
Ngot Mou Athuai Slate Nation is a South Sudanese-born Australia-based musician, artist and songwriter. He was born in Thiet, a suburb of Tonj State. Music career Slate Nation began his music career in 2007 as a choir member in Don Bosco Missionary School in his hometown Tonj. He made his breakthrough with his hit song Juba Juice in 2016. He has collaborated with international acts such as Skales, Pallaso, Jose Chameleone. The artist undertook his second tour of Australia in late 2017. He worked on his fourth studio album expected in 2023, which features work by Chameleone, Skales, Tekno (musician) and Emmanuel Jal. At the beginning of 2022, Slate Nation conducted a world music tour with Rema of Marvin, Kizz Daniel, KiDi. Personal life In 2017, while touring Australia, Slate Nation claimed that his life was in danger if he returned to South Sudan. Juba () is the capital and largest city of South Sudan. The city is situated on the White Nile and also serves as the capital of the Central Equatoria State. Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, (born 1 May 1994) better known by his stage name Kizz Daniel, is a Yoruba singer and songwriter. He is best known for his singles " Woju" and "Yeba". He went by the stage name Kiss Daniel prior to changing it in May 2018. He signed a record deal with G-Worldwide Entertainment in 2013, but left the label following a publicized contract dispute and court case. He founded the Fly Boy Inc record label in November 2017. On 8 August 2022, Kizz Daniel was arrested in Dar es Salaam by the Tanzanian police force over failure to perform. Hardlife Avenue Stars
Hardlife Avenue Stars is a South Sudanese Afro-pop and dance group. Vocalist Siliman Musa (Nicky Prince) and the late rapper Murye Alex (Mantani) who died on 24 July 2021 in a motor road accident; formed the group in South Sudan in 2011. Initially a duo, Ochwo Junior (Linus) then joined in 2016 after a series of collaborations with Kilo Kwen Kulek, offside and Yau De. The group now survived with Nicky Prince and Linus as a duo. Background Hardlife Avenue Stars released their debut studio album ''Lost Culture'' in 2012. Their second studio album ''Yau De'' was released on 4 November 2014, earning the group a number of accolades and nominations. On 3 April 2015, the group completed their first album launch dubbed “Yau De,” establishing them as a household name in South Sudan.
