Slappy The Dummy
Slappy the Dummy is a fictional character and antagonist in the ''Goosebumps'' children's series by R. L. Stine. He is one of the series' most popular villains, the main antagonist of the ''Night of the Living Dummy'' saga and the mascot of the franchise. He is also the main antagonist of the ''Goosebumps'' movie and its sequel, where Stine describes him as a "ventriloquist's dummy with a serious Napoleonic complex". He comes alive by these words: "Karru Marri Odonna Loma Molanu Karrano" (which roughly translates to "You and I are one now"), and they can be found on a sheet of paper in Slappy's jacket pocket. After coming to life, Slappy will try to make the person who brought him to life serve him as a slave, to the point that he will frame that person for bad things that he does. The protagonists in these stories are tweens or young teens who find themselves in scary circumstances usually involving the supernatural, the paranormal or the occult. Legacy Effects, LLC is an American special effects studio specializing in creature design, prosthetic makeup, animatronics, and specialty suits. ''Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween'' (or simply ''Goosebumps 2'' as marketed on home release) is a 2018 American horror comedy film directed by Ari Sandel and written by Rob Lieber from a story by Lieber and Darren Lemke. Micky R. Wingert (born July 4, 1974) is an American voice actor. ''Goosebumps'' is a children's anthology horror television series based on R. L. Stine's best-selling book series of the same name. It is an anthology of stories about tweens and young teens finding themselves in creepy and unusual situations, typically involving supernatural elements or the occult. Production ''Goosebumps'' was filmed largely in the Canadian province of Ontario, with different houses and historic properties in Toronto, Markham and other outlying rural areas serving often as the sets for each episode rather than constructing artificial houses and buildings.
