Ski Jumping At The 2022 Winter Olympics – Mixed Team
The inaugural Mixed team normal hill competition of the Beijing 2022 Olympics was held on 7 February 2022 at the Snow Ruyi hill in Zhangjiakou. In July 2018, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) officially added the mixed team event to the Olympic program. Summary Germany were the 2021 World champion, with Norway and Austria being the silver and bronze medalists, respectively. Only one mixed team event was held in the framework of the 2021–22 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup before the Olympics; Slovenia won, followed by Norway and Austria. The event was won by Slovenia, whose first Olympic gold had been won two days earlier by Urša Bogataj, who was also part of the mixed team. Ski Jumping
Ski jumping is a winter sport in which competitors aim to achieve the farthest jump after sliding down on their skis from a specially designed curved ramp. Along with jump length, competitor's aerial style and other factors also affect the final score. Ski jumping was first contested in Norway in the late 19th century, and later spread through Europe and North America in the early 20th century. Along with cross-country skiing, it constitutes the traditional group of Nordic skiing disciplines. The ski jumping venue, commonly referred to as a ''hill'', consists of the jumping ramp (''in-run''), take-off table, and a landing hill. Each jump is evaluated according to the distance traveled and the style performed. The distance score is related to the construction point (also known as the ''K-point''), which is a line drawn in the landing area and serves as a "target" for the competitors to reach. The ''Fédération internationale de ski et de snowboard'' (FIS; en, International Ski and Snowboard Federation) is the highest international governing body for skiing and snowboarding. Daniela Iraschko-Stolz
Daniela Iraschko-Stolz ( Iraschko; born 21 November 1983) is an Austrian ski jumper and footballer. She is one of the ski jumping's most successful female athletes, having won the 2014/15 women's World Cup season, and has the third most individual female World Cup wins – 12 – as of March 2017. Since 2003 she has held the women's ski flying world record of , and remains the only woman to reach that distance. In football she has played at the highest levels of the domestic women's game. is a Japanese Ski jumping, ski jumper. Yuki Ito (ski Jumper)
is a Japanese ski jumper. Ito has won five individual World Cup events, three team events, and finished as the overall runner-up in the 2016–17 season. At the World Championships she has won five medals, including a mixed team gold. Career Ito's debut in the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup took place in February 2012 in Hinzenbach. Vladimir Pavlovich Belousov (russian: Владимир Павлович Белоусов; born 14 July 1946) is a Soviet former ski jumper. He was the only Soviet ski jumper to medal at the Olympics and is the only person from the Soviet Union or Russia to win a gold medal in ski jumping in both the Winter Olympics and the Holmenkollen.
