Skateboarding Dog
There are several skateboarding dogs whose exploits have been featured upon TV, websites and other media. Skateboarding dog stories are commonly used at the end of news bulletins as human interest stories. Bulldogs are especially good at this activity as they have a low centre of gravity and wide body. Such dogs have been featured on television, such as in the MTV show ''Rob and Big''. One skateboarding dog named Tyson appeared in this show and has since been featured on many websites as the pioneer of skateboarding dogs. Another bulldog, Tillman, has appeared in ''Greatest American Dog''. Tillman holds the Guinness World Record for "Fastest 100 m on a skateboard by a dog." Dogs can be trained to ride skateboards by familiarising them with a skateboard in stages and rewarding the dog as it becomes more comfortable and accomplished. Bamboo Skates Seaside
Bamboos are a diverse group of evergreen perennial flowering plants making up the subfamily Bambusoideae of the grass family Poaceae. Giant bamboos are the largest members of the grass family. Tyson (born October 2001) is a bulldog that is famous for his ability to skateboard. Tillman was an English bulldog who held the Guinness World Record for "Fastest 100 m on a skateboard by a dog." He has appeared upon ''Greatest American Dog'' and is nicknamed ''Pot Roast''. ''Greatest American Dog'' was an United States of America, American reality television show on CBS. It debuted on July 10, 2008 and was hosted by Jarod Miller with judges Victoria Stilwell, Allan Reznik, and Wendy Diamond. The winner was given the title of "Greatest American Dog" and a prize of $250,000. Episode format Each episode had a theme, such as "teamwork" or "loyalty," that was tested through two different challenges. Skateboarding Duck
Herbie the skateboarding duck (c.1976-83) was the subject of an item first broadcast on the ''Midlands Today'' insert to the BBC news magazine programme '' Nationwide'' on 24 May 1978. Herbie, an Aylesbury duck, was bought by Jacky and Paddy Randall of Croydon for their children Mikala and Colin. The film, presented by reporter Alan Towers, includes footage of Herbie waddling along the street, joining the family at breakfast and attacking the Randalls' terrier. Part of the film is a four-second shot of Herbie apparently skateboarding by himself on Colin's board. This image seemingly captured the public imagination, and the BBC received many requests for it to be shown again, which it frequently was. The clip also appeared on other TV stations around the world, many of which also produced their own variations on the theme.
