''Sjung'' (, "Sing") is the fourth studio album by the Swedish singer-songwriter Laleh, released on 25 January 2012. Produced by Laleh herself, the album was released on Warner Music Sweden and Lost Army. ''Sjung'' is her first long play for four years since the January 2009 album '' Me and Simon''. The album is produced, written, recorded, engineered and performed by Laleh. The release follows her appearance on popular Swedish television show " Så mycket bättre" towards the end of 2011. The album's lyrical theme centres on new environments and being an outsider, with elements of African drums and synthpop being incorporated into Laleh's sound for the first time. The physical release of the album contains a second disc which features her interpretations from "Så mycket bättre". All of these interpretations were also released as a digital download only extended play preceding the album on 25 December 2011 called ''Tolkningarna'' (''Interpretations''). Laleh Pourkarim ( fa, لاله پورکریم, ; born 10 June 1982), known mononymously as Laleh (), is an Iranian-Swedish singer-songwriter, record producer, guitarist, pianist, and record company manager. Following a short acting career, she entered the music industry in 2005 with her self-titled debut album, which peaked at number one in Sweden and went on to become that country's highest selling album of the year. She has since released eight further studio albums. She has sung in both English and Swedish, in addition to her parents' native tongue, Persian. Bo Martin Erik Erikson (born 27 August 1965), better known by his stage name E-Type, is a Swedish eurodance musician, songwriter and record producer. His professional name is based on the Jaguar E-Type sports car. Biography Early years Erikson was born in Uppsala. His father is Bo ("Bosse") G. Maria Magdalena Philipsson (born 19 January 1966), known by her stage name Lena Philipsson, is a Swedish singer, songwriter and media personality. Eva Dahlgren
Eva Charlotte Dahlgren (; born 9 June 1960) is a Swedish pop musician and singer-songwriter. Career Dahlgren was discovered by musician/producer Bruno Glenmark in 1978 after appearing on the TV show ''Sveriges magasin'' and her debut album ''Finns det nån som bryr sej om'' was released the same year. TV4 AB (formerly Nordisk Television AB; previously traded as ) is a Swedish media company owned by Telia Company through TV4 Media (formerly known as Bonnier Broadcasting). TV4 (''TV fyra'') is a Swedish free-to-air television network owned by TV4 AB, a subsidiary of the TV4 Media AB. It started broadcasting by satellite in 1990 and, since 1992, on terrestrial television. In 1994, TV4 became the largest channel and remained so for a number of years. P3 (''Sveriges Radio P3'' or ''pe tre'') is a mainstream CHR-formatted station operated by Sweden's national publicly funded radio broadcasting organization Sveriges Radio. The P in P3 originally stood for Program (''Programme'') but today has no official meaning and is simply a name. P3 was officially similar and related to BBC Radio 1. P3 is broadcast nationwide on FM (also digitally via DAB in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, and Luleå) as well as being streamed on the internet. Fibes, Oh Fibes! is a Sweden, Swedish funk rock band that rose to fame in early 2004. The trio, from Gothenburg on the west coast of Sweden, was formed in 2001. Their first release was a self-titled EP in 2003. The band name is from drum company Fibes Drums, of which the band had a beloved drumset in its early career. First Aid Kit is a Swedish folk duo consisting of the sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg, born in 1990 and 1993, respectively. When performing live, they are accompanied by a drummer, a guitarist and a keyboard player.
